Lacey's POV
Really who in their right mind would just drop a girl? What an idiot he will get punched for that later.
"What the fudge and really?!" I yell before standing up and getting up in Trey's space.
I mean how was I supposed to know that he is actually afraid of the dark, I laugh to myself. "What's your problem? Your the one who kidnapped me the least you could do is be a little nicer," I say looking at him with amusement in my eyes as his face contorts into an angry mask.
"You captured me first!" He says practically yelling.
I look over my shoulder at the other guy. What was his name? Oh yea Zane. I raise my eyebrow mocking Trey as I feel his anger rising. Zane shakes his head as I turn back facing Trey again. "I was really expecting you to put up more of a fight."
"You surprised me and you had a gun and a knife to," he points out.
" You surprised me and you still got your ass kicked, by a girl I might add," I say laughing.
Before I know what's happening my back is pressed against a tree with Treys arms on either side of my head. I look at him shocked before I can hide my emotions from him. His face inches closer to mine and I can't help but notice the smirk on his lips. Crap he saw the panic in my eyes. Fine you know what if he wants to play I'll show him how its done .
"I could take you anytime darling." Is it really possible for him to have that much confidence about it? I don't t think so.
I look into his eyes and something sparks its way threw my brain reminding me of my dad. Maybe it was the resilience in his eyes or the way confidence seemed to flow off of him. Is that even possible? There is no way my dad would ever act like this in front of somebody though.
I start to glare at him only to look away when I hear a cough. How long have we been standing like that? I look up and notice how its gotten a lot darker than it was a few seconds ago. Trey suddenly pulls away and starts to pace back and forth before he turns to look at me.
" You're a danger to my people and I can not have that. You will be kept under our observation until my father believes that he can trust you."
My mouth hangs open in shock. I will not be kept like some wild animal I need my freedom. "No your crazy," I say quietly looking from Zane to Trey. Crap so they are going to cage me up, that's just great. Trey starts to walk over to me while pulling a rope out of his pocket. He pulls my arms behind my back .
"Your going to need to tie it tighter than that if you don't want me to escape." I say smirking. Trey finishes and starts to walk grabbing my arm as he passes me pulling me along with him. By the time we get to the camp my wrist are stinging and bleeding from pulling against the rope. Good job Lacey . I think to myself rolling my eyes . I look down at the ground feeling everyone's eyes on me.
I yank my arm out of Treys death grip wanting to show all of the dignity that I had left. He looks at me out of the corner of his eye, but doesn't say anything.
We stop in front of a big building and I can't help of feel a twinge of under and jealousy . I mean they had it a lot better than I ever did.
" You can sit down If you want," Trey says. I do as he says not wanting to argue since my feet are killing me. Trey walks into the building leaving me with Zane .
" Hey Zane you should go help people out with their problems." I say sarcastically noting something silver on the ground .
He glares at me but says nothing before looking away again. I smirk slowly moving toward the object.
As I pick it up in my hand I notice a little girl looking at me. I give the best smile I can while trying not to make it obvious about me cutting my binds. She nods her head before mouthing run fast and walking away.
Did that girl leave this thing here on purpose? I ponder before feeling the rope come loose. I jump up and start running. hearing Zane stumble after me, "stop," he yells. Hahaha no way I can see my freedom again. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° thanks for your waiting so long I hope you like it I will try to write another chapter next week. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
