"Mi amor, escuchando?" Coraline asked Diego with a delightful smirk. She barely contained the excitement in her heart.
"Que?" he groaned, hiding under his pillow.
"Diego!" she whined, hitting his arm. "Levantar!" [Get up!]
"No, Cora, estoy cansado. Dormirse," [I am tired. Go to sleep.] Diego ordered her, turning to face the wall.
"Diego! Levantar! Inmediatamente!"
Diego sat up, glaring at her. "What the hell do you want, Coraline?"
Coraline glared at him, her gray storm-like eyes looking as dark as the sky in a stormy day, as rain chilled you to the bone, her eyes giving Diego the same effect.
"Don't talk to me like that," she hissed.
"Pardona me," he apologized. "Que, mi corazón?"
"I know you wanted to go to a Quidditch match for the longest time," she started with a sheepish smile, "and I know I promised to take you to a match between Guatemala and Mexico, but I didn't have the money to buy the tickets back then. But now I am of age," she grinned, "And I inherited some more money, and..."
"Wait, what?"
"Are you up for a trip to England?" she asked with a wide smile.
"Seriamente?!" [Seriously?!]
"Si!"
"But, it's like... in a week!"
"I know! So pack up, we need to go today!"
"Alright!" Diego beamed widely, getting up in an instant. After a moment he faltered, "hold on, what about our work?"
Coraline's lips been pulled to a frown, and Diego sat down, realizing what she meant.
"We're closing," he said, and the two looked through the window to the main cabinet, where the owner and his wife were cleaning. "They can't pay for their debts? They're sure?"
"No," she shook her head. "And they won't take my money- they don't understand that it's not that we don't want to see their home taken; it's our home too."
Diego simply sighed, looking at Coraline for a moment. "I'll miss this place." he stayed silent for a moment. "When will I go?" he questioned, his eyes widening. "Oh crap, yo no te tengo nadya," [I haven't got nobody] he muttered.
"Relax! Tu y yo, si?" she snapped him back to reality, frowning. "You're not gonna be alone Diego."
"Prometeme?"
"Of course," Coraline assured. "I promise."
"Gracias," Diego sincerely thanked her, thankful to have someone in this world; That was something the two of them shared, the paralyzing fear of being left all alone.
"So, England," Coraline stated, a huge grin on her face, and the two immediately fell into a deep chat about Quidditch, both planning the trip and discussing their favourites and expectations.

Roughly three hours later the four arrived at the campsite where the Quidditch World Cup final were held. The ex-owners of now a burned down motel at Guatemala parted way with their three-years long workers, knowing this might- and probably will- be the last time they will meet.
After a long farewell, a lot of tears, some laughs and a lot of well-wishing to each other, Diego and Coraline walked off.
Diego followed Coraline as she looked around her, he wasn't certain what his best friend was looking at or for, but he felt awkward staring at nothing.
