Leia Organa walked through the forest, in Endor. The sun had just risen and nobody except her were awake.
The girl sighed. A lot had happened in a very short amount of time. She had discovered that Luke, her best friend, was her brother; that Darth Vader was their father... Han and her had started a relationship and Leia hoped it would last. They had defeated the Empire, and with it, the evil in the galaxy had dissapeared, hopefully forever.
She hugged herself. She felt empty. She remembered when Luke came from the Death Star, to the party they had made with the ewoks' help. He had hugged her, along with Han, Lando, and the rest. And then... he stood there, by a tree, and smiled. Leia had gone closer to him and looked at where her brother was staring. Her hazel eyes had turned bigger. There was Obi-Wan, an old little green being and... a handsome and radiant young man. His dark blond hair was pretty long, almost touching the man's shoulders. His features would have made any woman go crazy for him. His lips were curve, making a smile appear in his gentle face. But, without counting his beautifulness, what impressed the most to Leia were his azure eyes, almost identical to her brother's.
Even though, she had seen herself in that man. She had been impressed by how alike that man and her were. The man had stared at both brother and sister with a love bigger than imaginable.
Back to the present, Leia had that image of her father smiling lovingly at her. She couldn't forget all that he had done, but seing him so... perfect, made her think. How did this young boy -he couldn't be older than Luke and her- turn into this horrid monster?
She had thought of asking Luke, but the boy was exacly as confused as her in that matter.
And talking about Luke... should she be called Leia Skywalker now? Didn't sound too bad, she had to admit.
Her past was a blur. It wasn't only curiosity. No. It was more a need. She needed to know what happened. And not only to their father. She needed to know what happened to their mother.
She closed her eyes, concentrated. She focused on her own breathing. And then, an unespected voice filled her ears.
"Leia"
She looked at her surroundings, but she didn't see where that voice came from.
"Who are you?" She asked.
The girl heard a joyful laugh.
"I think you know the answer"
Leia swallowed.
"F... Father?"
Just after the mention of that name, her father's young ghost appeared.
"I've felt you need... to talk to me about something" her father admited "And now, looking at your eyes, I can see it's true. Tell me, Leia. What are you worried about?
She sighed.
"Father, I... I have been wondering a few things. I... don't understand why all of this happened to us"
Anakin smiled.
"I guess it's normal. I wish I could explain it all to you, but it's more complex than it looks"
His daughter huffed.
"I suppose. Turning to the Dark Side and breaking one's family isn't something that happens every day"
Anakin sighed.
"Leia, I swear, I wish I could change everything I've done for the past twenty years, but I'm dead"
She smiled.
"Yeah, you're kinda screwed"
Anakin's eyes sparkled when he remembered something.
"Well, if you want to do something, there may be..."
But his ghostly voice was interrumpted by the voice of that boy who was dating his daughter.
"Leia! Come here! Where are you!"
She ran to Han, right after whispering an "Sorry, Father, I gotta go".
Anakin's Force Ghost watched with a smile how his lovely daughter went hand in hand with Han, back to the camp.
