Leia's POV:
I'm getting dressed when I hear someone nocking the door.
"Yes, come in" I say.
To my surprise, it's Father.
"Hi, Luce. Padmé told me yesterday that maybe you could come with me today"
My eyes turn bigger in excitement.
"Yeah, I would love to! If you want, of course" I add.
He nods with a smile.
"Of course I want to. The thing is that I don't know if the Council will aproove. You see, I'm not a Jedi Master"
"Well, trying won't hurt anyone, will it?" I reply with a smile.
Anakin laughs and we both come out of the room.
"Behave" Padmé says when she watches us almost leaving the apartment.
"I will" I assure her.
"I was talking to Anakin" she laughs.
Anakin kisses her on the lips and then on her forehead. I hug her and she whispers in my ear: "Good luck".~¤~
"She won't be taught" Master Windu says.
I feel Father's rage increasing.
I look at a younger Obi-Wan Kenobi, hoping to find support in his eyes, but he remains silent. That is when the green old Master, Yoda, clears his throat.
"She to be taught needs" he solemnly replies "The will of the Force it is. Listen to it's command we must" he turns to Anakin "Knight Skywalker, teach her you will. Let her go with you on your mission I want you. Help you she will. More than you think"
Anakin bows and I do the same.
"Thank you, Master Yoda, and the rest of the Jedi Council." He says.
I smile to all the Jedi who stare at me with different opinions glowing in their eyes.
Anakin and I come out of the room and start walking along one of the corridors.
"We have to get going. The Chancellor has summon me, and for that matter you, in his office" he tells me.
The idea of being next to the Emperor repels me, but I need to watch closely and stick close to Father.
"Alright" I simply say.
He glances and looks at me.
"Just curiosity, Luce... how old are you?"
"I'm 23" I reply.
He doesn't hide his suprise.
"Woah."
I laugh.
"Why are you so surprised?"
"Well, you seem older" he admits "you're too mature for someone our young"
I grab that piece of information. Father was 23 when he turned to the Dark Side.
"I was taught to be like this." I smile.
"Where do you come from, anyway?" He keeps asking.
"I come from Alderaan. My parents were... important people there"
"They were?" Anakin frowns his eyebrow.
"Yes, they... they got killed by a Sith Lord" I whisper.
"I'm sorry" He smiles. I bet he doesn't realize, but that apology, coming from the man who actually murdered my parents, does actually make me feel better.
"They weren't actually my parents, though. My father died before I was born and my mother died in childbirth. Althought she had lost her will to live because of my father's loss"
Anakin sighs sadly.
"I never knew my father, and my mother died. She was killed by Sandpeople. They had her captive until I came for her" he tells me. I never actually hoped he would open to me so fast.
I doubt of what I'm going to say, but my stubborn self - I suppose inherited from my father- wins the battle.
"Anakin... don't you think it's a bit... strange that Sandpeople would keep your mother?"
He furrowes his eyebrow.
"What are you trying to say, Luce?"
"I'm just saying Sandpeople normally don't have a reason to kidnap someone's mother and make her suffer, right? What if in this case they did?"
Anakin stops walking and stays still for a moment.
"For what? Why would anybody want to hurt my mother?"
I sigh.
"Maybe so that somebody could get to hurt you"
