I'm Yours - Oikawa x Reader (Part 1)

Oikawa x Reader

You're a first year student from Aoba Josai. It's the first day of school. You don't know anyone from your school since nobody from your middle school went to Aoba Josai.
As you entered your classroom everyone was already talking to each other so you picked a desk near the window. One of your girl classmates approached you and said;

"Hi! What's your name? My name is Yumi."

You replied;
"I-im.. (Your first name)"

Yumi: "Nice to meet you! I see you're alone, don't you know anybody?"

You answered with a soft voice;
"No"

She replied;
"I see, I can be your friend! I don't have many friends so we can be friends!"
She smiled.

You were very happy, you felt relieved and you're not nervous anymore.

You and Yumi were talking and sharing stories with each other for like 20 minutes then suddenly, one of your girl classmates yelled;

"Kyaaaaaaaaa! It's OIKAWA-san"

You wondered who it was;
You: "Oikawa-san? Who's that? Is he some kind of celebrity?"

All the girls from your class headed to the window screaming. Then you asked Yumi;

"Yumi do you know him?"

Yumi: "Yeah he's Tooru Oikawa, the captain of Aoba Josai's Volleyball team. Lot's of girls are interested in him coz' he's hot!"

You: "Hot? Eh?"

Then out of curiousity you also looked at the window.
You saw a bunch of girls circling a guy. Then you said;

You; " So that's Oikawa-san?"
In your thoughts; "There's nothing special about him"

Then the whole day passed and you didn't even got interested about Oikawa and just ignored the girls over him.

-TIME SKIP-

The next day you had PE class, Yumi was already finished changing into her PE uniform but you aren't yet;

Yumi: "(first name)! We're gonna be late! I'm gonna go ahead, you should hurry too"
You: "You should go ahead Yumi I'll catch up"

Yumi went ahead to the Gym #3 where your PE class was. You were finished changing and went ahead to the gym, but you passed through the Gym #1 where you saw the volleyball team training.
Out of curiosity, you took a peek.

A volleyball player appeared at your back and said

"who are you? Are you lost? I think you're at the wrong gym"

You were startled and didn't know what to say then a voice suddenly said

"Iwa-chan you're scaring her!"

Then you turned around and saw, it's Oikawa-san

Oikawa: "Sorry if Iwa-chan scared you, I'm Tooru"

You were so nervous and didn't know what to do

You: "i-im...?!"

Then suddenly their coach got mad and yelled at them
Coach: "Hey Oikawa and Iwaizumi! How long will the whole team wait for you guys?!?"

They immediately went back to their gym as Oikawa is waving at you while running and he said "Sorry again!"

You were shoked for a minute and hear Yumi yelling at you at the hall
Yumi: "Hey the teacher is waiting for you! You better hurry before he gets mad!"

And then you quickly rushed to your PE class. You almost got in trouble for being late but you were so happy, you kept thinking about Oikawa the whole day.

Until Yumi noticed you were smiling
Yumi: "whats with that smile from nowhere?"
You : "Nothing i just remembered something"
Yumi: "Huh? Oh well, by the way what were you doing in front of gym 1 earlier? Don't tell me you were looking for Oikawa-san?"
You: "No I wasn't looking for him! But actually, I met him"

Then you suddenly blushed. Yumi asked you what happened and you told her the whole story.

-TIME SKIP-

A week went by and you did not see Oikawa again after the gym incident. You kept thinking of him, but you also thought that maybe he was also nice to other girls. The fact that he is famous and a lot of girls are crazy for him made you think that you should give up on thinking about him.

It was your lunch break but Yumi was sick so she was absent. You don't have any other friends so you looked for a spot at the back of your school to eat your lunch.

As you were eating alone you heard someone approaching.

"oh! Its you!"

You looked to your right then you saw a tall guy, it was Oikawa.
You immediately blushed and looked away from him.

He said
" Finally I met you again! I didn't got your name the last time, i've been looking for you!"

You answered
"Huh? Why were you looking for me?"

Oikawa: "uuuhh.. Well.." He blushed

"I really want to know your name!"

You: "I'm (first name)"

Oikawa: "(First name) chan, what a cute name"

You: "Why are you here at the back of Aoba Josai?"

Oikawa: "Im always here, coz everywhere I go there are a lot of girls approaching me. This is the only place i can be alone"

You: " Sorry if I invaded your private spot, i'm leaving now"
And you started to pack up your things and you stood up
But Oikawa grabbed your hand and said

"No it's ok, it's ok if its you. I don't mind being with you"

There was a moment of silence, then you said
"What do you mean?"

He said "it's because I have been thinking of you since the day I first saw you! I can't get you out of my mind"

But instead of being happy, you got mad

You said "Is this why you have so many fans? Because you are good at flirting?"

Oikawa "No, i mean it. I really like you!"

You still did not believe him, even though you like him too. You are too scared to get hurt. Then you decided to leave already, since lunch break is ending.

Oikawa: "I need to go back now, I will prove to you that what I feel for you is true"

Then both of you left the spot. You headed straight to your classroom and tried to focus on studying instead of thinking about what he said

-TIME SKIP-

The next day. You were on your way to school. You did not get enough sleep because you kept thinking that Oikawa confessed to you. Then suddenly when you got near the school gate, many students were there looking at something. You can't see anything but you tried too look too.

And then you saw Oikawa holding a boquet of flowers, and the whole Aoba Josai volleyball team at his back holding a big banner that says

"Will you go out with me? (First name) chan?"

You were shocked. You were very surprised that you can't move.
And then Oikawa approached you and said

"(First name) chan, i will tell the whole world that I like you. I will prove to you that i'm not what you think I am. So please give me a chance. Please, will you go out with me?"

You were really touched, you smiled and nodded your head. You were the happiest girl that time and said

"Yes"
