"So, what's your name?" The boy asks not taking his eyes off the road.
"Karly." I look at him. He really is cute.
"Do you go to school in Huntsville?" His voice is soft but deep.

"Yeah,I'm a sophomore." I choke out. He glances at me.

"Really?"
"yeah,I moved here two years ago From Nebraska."

"Oh, nice. I've lived in Huntsville for six years. I'm a Senior, if you were wondering."
Wow, how have I never seen him before?
"I've never seen you before. Like ever."
He chuckles.
"Really? I see you all the time. Wait don't take that wrong, I mean I see you with friends all the time."

His face turns bright red. He turns into McDonald's.
"What are we doing here?"
I ask. Is he really buying me food?
He smirks. Oh god. "Well you looked hungry and I'm starving."
"So you take random girls that you find on dirt roads to McDonalds? What if I don't even eat McDonalds?"
He looks at me and laughs.
"First of all who doesn't eat McDonalds? And just think of it as a blind date."he grins. "C'mon, it'll be fun." I follow his lead into the restaurant.
"So why were you on a dirt road in the dark by yourself?" He asks putting our food on the table.
"You know, you ask a lot of questions." I tell him.
"Well when people go on blind dates they normally ask a lot of questions to each other." Rolling my eyes I backfire
"Well I did not know it was a date." I laugh. "Well, what is your name then?"
"Cameron. I'm Uhm Cameron, its nice to meet you. Probably should of told you that a while ago, huh?" His brown eyes meet mine.
"Well I did get in a car with a stranger." I grin at his expression while I dip my French fries in ketchup.
.........
"This one?" He points to the blue house.
"Yup. Thank you Cameron. You're a life savior." His cheeks turn pink.
"It's no problem, maybe I'll see you at school on Monday."
A smile breaks across my face.
"Yes, definitely." He opens my door and kisses my cheek. I'm so astonished that I just freeze. Oh God.
"You...you kissed me?"
"That's what people do after dates right?"
"Can I give you my number?!" The words fall out of my mouth. Oh my god, I just said that.
After Cameron pulls out of my drive way my heart slows to a steady paste and my palms aren't so sweat. I gave Cameron my number and I just met him. I run inside to my bedroom to go over my night in my head. Just like that I meet Cameron and he kisses me then I practically give a stranger my number. Safety with strangers is not a quality of mine. Especially with cute strangers.
