That night I couldn't sleep. I tossed and turned on my unforgiving mattress.
Why would I ask a total stranger for his number? I didn't know him. Then a thought occurred to me. Tyler. What would he do?
.......

I woke up the next morning to an unbearable head ache. I searched for my phone but suddenly remembered I had left it in Tyler's truck the previous night. I'll just have to get it back Monday, hopefully he won't be so mad by then. As I pour a bowl of fruit loops there's a knock on the door.

"Uhm, Hi." A familiar brown haired boy says as I open the door.
"Cameron. " I stutter "W-what are you doing here?"
He looks down with a sad expression.
"Well uh, last night you didn't call and I didn't know if you were uh, okay?" His answer sounds more like a question.

I look up at his brown eyes, his tan skin glistening in the early sunshine. He looks amazing right here standing in front of me. I couldn't get myself to unlock with his eyes.
"Oh uh, sorry I was just really tired last night, I'm sorry." A child like smile spreads across his face.
"Well, I'm uh glad you're okay. I guess I'll uh, see you Monday?" He says shyly.
I smile sheepishly.
"Yeah, I'll see you Monday." He smirks and starts to make his way towards his car.

"Uh, Cameron?" I call out. He jerks his head towards me.
"Yeah?" I step outside letting the cold concrete meet the bottom of my feet.
"Thank you for, you know, helping me." His cheeks reveal the least bit of redness.
"The pleasure was all mine."
