"You shouldn't have anyone waiting for you, they're not always there when you want them--"

I sigh, listening to my professor as she collects our paper.

I am late to my shift in the bar, and here she is, rambling about her love life.

As great as those advices are, I have a life outside this campus.

"Amelia, you're done with your shift." Bailey Reid came into the bar to take over, "okay, uh.. I load the dishwasher already so.. That's done. Erm, I don't think-- Oh wait no, the electrician is coming in 10 minutes to fix the stage lights for my night shows." I told her and took out my apron and hung it at the side.

"Okay, got it." Bailey nods, and went behind the counter. "There's a guy waiting outside for you." She points to the outside.

"Wow, I wonder who is it.." I muttered to myself and grab my bag.

"Ok thanks, I will see you tomorrow." I wave goodbye and step out of the bar.

"You're a busy girl," Louis says when I stood in front of him.

"Can we get this over with?" I put on my leather jacket and walk with him.

"How long have you been playing soccer?" Louis ask after we order some deep fried food.

"Since 11, you?"

"Since I was born." I chuckled at his answer.

"You're majoring in literature, you love soccer, you can play well-- You also sing very well-- What's your ambition?"

"I am actually an upcoming actress." I say, noticing his eyes are greyish blue.

"Wow, okay." Louis murmurs.

"But it's important for me to finish university with a degree first, maybe I can become a literature teacher." I added.

"Erm.. What about you though? I know you guys started out in x-factor, Hayley was forcing me to watch the video diaries. If you weren't in One Direction, will you be a soccer player?"

"Of course."

Then it fell into awkward silence, great...

"You know, you have a little British accent in your voice. Where are you from actually?" Louis ask.

"Uh, I am actually from Doncaster. I was born there, due to some issues.. We moved to San Fransisco and lived there practically my whole life before I come to California to study." I replied.

He stares at me, a little surprise or some sort.

"I am from Doncaster too," he says excitedly like he's getting presents on Christmas Day.

"Really? Wow.."

"It's fate, it's gotta be, Amelia!" Louis says, his voice filled with determination.

"Amelia, glad you are home! Your Mom is here." Hayley says, obviously making tea for my mother.

"The house is a mess," my Mom says to me.

"It was neat before Hazel and Max came." I sit beside her on the sofa.

"You're the one who wanted them to come with you."

"Mom, they were in the house, starving." I say in a low tone.

"Why are you here?" I ask, getting to the point.

"Dad and I are getting a divorce."

"You're pregnant." I pointed to her big stomach.

"We're still getting a divorce."

"Ugh, Mom. I really can't deal with this right now, I am very stressed and all I want to do is eat and then go to bed." I put my hands to my face and sigh.
