siiiiiigh......
"Things are really slow right now. Sure I give a show here and there, make a couple new jokes, hang out with the guys, but...why do I feel like this?" Yuta sighed again as he sat at the bar at Long Island. His fifth time doing it didn't go unnoticed by Kuniko. "Something on your mind, Yuta?" he asked as he cleaned a couple glasses. Yuta looked up at him and tapped the bar as he thought of a way to phrase what he wanted to say. "Have you ever felt...like you wanted something new?" He wasn't expecting Kuni to start smiling like that.
"Ahh so you mean that you're feeling a bit lonely? Dare I say, romantically?" Yuta blushed and hid his face in his arm as they laid on the bar. "Do you have to say it so loud like that. Heaven forbid that Saeki hears your. He'd try and teach me some of his....ways" It was true. Yuta had been avoiding going home as much as possible lately. What was the point? Nobody was going to be there waiting for him. "Why don't you ask a girl out on a date?" Kuni leaned against the bar and smiled at Yuta. "It's not that easy for me. You guys may be smooth with women but I'm not. They just usually see me as cute and/or goofy,"
Yuta decided to go home after that conversation, wanting to avoiding anything similar with the other guys. The walk and train ride home was very quiet; everyone seemed to be talking to somebody else except him. Maybe he would get a pet to keep him company at his apartment. "That wouldn't do much for long. Can't blame me for trying." He thought to himself as he opened up his laptop after sitting on his couch.
About an hour of his usually surfing led him to a couple of dating websites. "This is so corny. Do I honestly expect to meet someone online?" But his actions different from his thoughts. It wasn't long at all before he found himself filling out information and answering silly questions for his new profile. "I can't believe I convinced myself to do this." Yuta stared at his fresh profile on the website and got embarrassed at himself. He just sat there for a moment and debated on whether he should delete it or not.
BING "What was that?" Yuta peeked at his computer screen through his fingers and blinked due to a loss of words. There was a message in his inbox. Curiously, he clicked on it and opened it up, only to be hit by another small wave of surprise. He read the message out loud "Hello, Yuta. I really like your profile picture....?? Who sent this?" He checked the senders username and caught a glimpse of her profile picture. "Asrid? She has to be foreign.....it would be rude not to reply. Right?" He typed up a simple response and sent it back to her. He didn't know that he would get caught up in an entertaining conversation with this woman for the rest of the night.
