"Ugh, he is so irritating!"

It had been about 3 hours since Kristen had left the office for the day. Ever since then she's been at the bar, talking with Bianchi as he served what other customers he had. All she's been fuming about for the past week is how she was practically forced to move out of the house she shared with Chiaki and find another apartment. What she found wasn't too fancy, but it wasn't too run down either. At this point, anything was better than living in the same house as him. All he did was find more and more was to first with her, only to reveal that he was just pointing out her weaknesses to mock her for them. It got rather old a bit quick.

"Not good for a lady to be drinking by herself." An all too familiar voice sounded. Chiaki had walked into the bar and instantly spotted Kristen sitting next to the counter. He sat down next to her and smirked to himself. "How many drinks have you have tonight?" Even though his tone of voice sounded all too snarky and sarcastic, it was an excellent question. Bianchi was probably the only person who could answer it at this point; Kristen was drunk.

"What are you doing here?" She asked him, eye lids dropped down half way. Before Chiaki could respond, Biancho wandered over with a slightly concerned look on his face. "I am sorry. Signora, must've had too much. I no idea that her tolerance was low like that. I call a cab." "No, I'll take her home, Bianchi." Chiaki stood up from his seat and proceeded to supporting Kristen as he helped her out her own chair. He managed to get her out of the bar and into a cab with him. As the cab was driving Chiaki couldn't help but notice how Kristen's blazer was half way on her body, and two buttons on her short were undone, the sleeve threatening to slide down her shoulder.

"Such a stupid girl for going out like this. But why does she look so cute? What am I saying?" His cheeks flushes a light shade of pink as his thoughts almost ran wild. It wasn't until after the cab stopped outside of Kristen's new apartment when he finally snapped out of it. Chiaki paid the driver, got out of the cab and helped Kristen out and up the stairs. He sat there and watched as she fumbled around with her keys as she tried to unlock the door. "I can't leave her here like this." A small wave of guilt came over him. "Here, let me do it." He got the door open and helped her inside.

It hadn't even been 10 minutes and Kristen looked like she was about to pass out from exhaustion rather than her alcohol. She had been working harder and harder just to keep up with Chiaki at work, it was noticeable to him. "You should be more careful if you're going to drink like that. Invite someone with you so that you won't have to stumble home looking like that." Chiaki spoke up. "Looking like what?" Kristen's blazer didn't stand much of a chance, it feel off the moment Chiaki walked her through the door. "Like that! Your clothes are practically hanging off your body. Someone could take advantage of you." "Why are you so worried?" The question was enough to make the pink shade reappear on Chiaki's face.

It had grown quiet between the two of them, neither of them realizing just how close they were to one another. Chiaki could smell the alcohol on her and sighed a bit to himself. But under that he could also smell something more please. Was it.....perfume? The fact that he was close enough to her that he could smell her perfume under the thick scent of alcohol strangely only bother him a little bit. He looked down at Kristen only to make strict eye contact with her. She stared right back at him, her cheeks red from either being drunk or embarrassed, he couldn't tell. The only thing that shocked Chiaki the most was when Kristen leaned forward and placed and short and sweet kiss on his lips.

Chiaki didn't know what shocked him more, the kiss or the fact that after she puled away, his head was leaning forward for more. He watched her walk over to her futon and down on it. He thought about leaving right then, but he couldn't get his feet to move. All he could do was watch her lay down on her futon. After all, he couldn't just leave her here like this.
