Chapter 2: runaway

I couldn't process what was going on.. I was sleeping but I wasn't tired. Distant memories began

flooding my mind until I

remembered the secret. The vampire. Louis.. I couldn't awake, but I felt as if I was knocked out

or somethin- wait! El! Gah she

couldn't just leave me be this one time!?

---Louis's Pov---

I watched as she fell asleep once more as Eleanor bit her. No, she wasn't turned, not even if El tried. I was the only person who

could turn her, seeing as I am her mate! We carried her as we both ran vampire speed to my flat. Well, Harry's and my flat. I was

unsure how Harry would react to this because he had yet to find his mate, while Liam, Zayn, and Niall (and I ) already have mates.

He's been out of it lately, depressed and angry thinking that he'll never find her. I know he will. We finally arrived back to my flat

secluded in the woody areas of London. Bunny began stirring and Eleanor shot me a look of concern. We quickly, but silently

opened the door to my flat and walked in with my love.

"Haz!? You home?!" I shouted down the hallway hoping Harry would not be. Sadly, he was. Harry emerged from his study looking

tired. He soon was fully awake once he spotted Bunny.

"Why do you have that here!?" He shouted at me clearly jealous.

"She's my... Erm..... Mate?" I sputtered out, but it sounded more like a question. Harry's look of disgust soon became a look

of....care?

"Well, I'm happy for you, boobear." He said and hugged me, forgetting Bunny was in my arms. He left the hall and went back to his

study. Now I gotta do what Bunny will not be so pleased about...... Turn her.

"Lou.... You mustn't turn her now! She should be awake and you should get to know her, take her on a date!" El said as she wiggled

her eyebrows at the last part. Typical Eleanor, always finding ways to be cheeky.

"Well, that should be fun!" I screamed partly sarcastically. Bunny was stubborn, I could read her like a book.

---Bunny's Pov---

I finally found the strength to awaken. Just as I opened my eyes I saw him. He was right in front of me grinning!

"Stop staring and help me up!" I snapped clearly annoyed. He did as said and pulled me up off the couch. Wait.. Couch? I didn't

remember being on a couch! Wait- where the bloody hell am I!?

"Where the hell am I!?" I practically screamed in Louis's face. His grin grew like ten times and he said coolly,

"My place, love! Why, everything alright?" Oh he knew everything definitely was NOT alright!

"Take me home NOW!" I spat at him madly. He just chuckled, but soon he began speaking,

"Sorry love, wish I could but if I let you go, we may never see each other again, and you are my mate, you know!" Ugh he just acted

as if this was perfectly normal! If I knew any better, this wasn't ok! I guess all I can do is run away.

"I uh.. Gotta pee where's your bathroom?" I asked as I plotted my plan in my head. Head to bathroom. Open window. Sneak out,

and hitchhike a ride home! I smiled a little to myself but only a little so he'd never notice.

"Oh right down the hall and first door to your right!" He said all know-it-all like. I followed the directions and found the bathroom.

"Ok Belle just gotta find the window and leave." I whispered so only I could hear. I shut the door and locked it. I then made a little

pile of stuff I could climb on to reach the window. Ugh why did it have to be in the shower up high!? I wondered angrily. Aha! I finally

reached it and opened it wide. Now be swift quiet and sneaky I thought. Ok just a few more...... YES!!!!!!!!!! I got through! I began to

leave when I heard muttering. Hmmm.... Looks like some window is open, let's go check it out! Me being the nosy girl I can be ran

up to the window and listened. Hmm all I could get were words like "why can't it be me" and "I deserve that, not him"

"well someone's grumpy!" I said.

"Crap!" I whisper yelled as I realized what just happened. I heard footsteps becoming closer to the window. I did all I knew I could

do. I ran away. I kept running until I found a road. finally I thought! Only a few cars passed, but finally one stopped and let me in.

"Thanks!" I muttered great fully to my savior who stopped. He smiled a cute smile and said his name,

"No problem! By the way I'm Liam!" He said as he shook my hand.

"Belle" I said. He seemed nice and he finally asked where I needed to go.

"Home, I live at 453 north chestnut place. Thank you again for giving me a ride! My day has been horrible!"

"No problem! And if you don't mind me asking, what happened?"

"Where do I begin! Well first my bff El and I we just hanging out when she saw one of her friends, Louis." I began. Liam's eyes got

wider as I spoke.

"Louis told me I'm his 'mate' and I don't want to be! I need to just sit on my couch with a big bucket of ice cream and think!" I

finished not wanting to give too many details, because I didn't want Liam to think I'm crazy! He opened his mouth as if he were

going to speak but closed it. He gave me one of those "I get it" smiles, even though I doubted he did. We finally arrived at my home

after some chatting here and there.

"Thanks!" I said for the 1,000,000th time!

"No problem! By any chance could I get your number?" He asked sweetly.

"Sure, it's 263-2746!" I said happily. Yes Louis was off my mind! Thanks Liam!

He texted me so I knew it was him and added him as contact, after that we said our goodbyes and he left.

"Nice boy!" I thought out loud. I slowly walked in, but only to see a surprised Eleanor.

"How'd you get home?" She asked clearly confused. I told her about Liam and she cursed under her breath.

"Shit!"

"What?" I asked hoping for a reasonable answer, but getting nothing but El running out the door.
