chapter 20: Running

Zayn's POV

We drove in utter silence, Louis sending apologetic glances towards Belle every few minutes or so. Belle was still a bit shaken up, and I could see why, I mean Louis was staring at her like she was a piece of meat. She was trying to forget the moments that occurred just minutes ago, I could tell. It seemed that she was failing, miserably.

"Hey lads, do you know exactly where Liam said to meet him and Harry at?" I asked Niall and Louis, trying to make Belle more comfortable.

"Yeah, he just said to meet him at the New Pointe Woods (A/n: I made up the new pointe woods so that's not real ha-ha carry on..) And that we should find the house by the lake.." Niall answered. I completely forgot about our mind communication! I could've just sent Liam a mind message.. well then.

"Alright, this upcoming sign says 12 miles to go, so we'll be there soon." I explained as I glanced at Belle, she smiled at me and nodded her head, signaling that she was alright. I smiled back, and went back to driving.

"Belle, I'm sorry about before.. I-I didn't know that I needed to uh feed until I started smelling your scent. Normally we all have such amazing control over our blood lust, b-but since you got here, I haven't fed, and I guess I really needed to." Louis explained, his face holding a frown.

"Louis, it's okay, really. I was just shocked, I mean I haven't seen that side of you before, but I should get used to it, I mean your all vampires. You shouldn't have to hide yourselves around me." Belle gushed smiling softly at Louis.

"You have no idea how hard it is to hide ourselves from you. We can smell your blood everyday, and it's so difficult to keep our fangs hidden 24/7." Niall added looking back at Belle.

"Then why do you guys hide so much?" She inquired. She was full of questions, just like El was when we first met. Oh the memories..

"We hide because, one, if we can't control ourselves like if we aren't paying attention, we could easily kill you, and two, we don't want to scare you away." Louis answered.

"You won't scare, or kill me. I trust you." Belle said.

"Your a very brave girl, I admire that." I smiled towards Belle.

"It takes guts to live with vampires and not try to escape each minute." Niall grinned.

"I did try to once.." Belle corrected, but we all just chuckled.

"Failed attempt, but you never tried to again." Louis grinned.

"Whateverrr." Belle dragged the r's.

I saw the sign, and it read: Welcome to New Pointe. We'll be there in about five minutes.

"Five minutes, guys." I informed.

=========Five minutes Later=========

New Pointe Woods Enter Here read the big wooden sign. Okay, if we want to get to Liam and Harry fast, Belle will need to ride on someone's back.

"Belle can ride on my back." Louis said, knowing what I was thinking. He hoisted her little body up on his back and at once, we all grabbed a bag.

"Ready, lads?" Niall asked. We all nodded, and together we sped off into the woods, looking for the big house.
