Story

Do you have a story to tell?
Why not spread the word,
Maybe raise a little hell.
For each word that is scratched onto a page
Begins a new and exciting
Wonderful age

Me, I say that stories should be told
Or else be forgotten
Like the legends of old

Tell of the boy that was set on fire
And called his family liars
Tell of the cannibal without any eyes
Tell of the clown who loves to gives parents a surprise
Tell of the picture who's word must be spread
Tell of what you might find at the foot of your bed
Tell of two boys so close they're like brothers
Tell of the girl who's first kill was her mother
Tell of a game in which a boy drowned
Tell of a boy who's head is full of ticking sounds
Tell of the game that wanted to be free
Tell of the beast that eats nothing but seeds
Tell of a demon who loves to make toys
Tell of a painter with a bad name for a boy

Tell of a creature so tall and so thin
That lives in a mansion
Which few humans can get in

Keep telling stories
Some may be true
And who knows
One of these things could come after you

But look at the facts, no need to resist
The fact is that none of them exist
For when you look at it, these are just stories
Sad stories that ended a bit more than gory...

Author's Note:
So kicking off my new "book" is a lovely not so little poem I wrote today about Creepypastas. Festive, right?
Well, when you have a splitting headache and there's not much else to do, you turn to any entertainment you can find.
Anyways, I own NONE of the Creepypasta characters referenced in this poem sadly
