Scott was doing homework in his room. He already decided that he wasn't going to see Void. He was anxious and worried that he might of made a mistake. He know that he should never trust a fox.
8:59pm
Just one more minute till the offer was over. Scott couldn't concentrate on his homework anymore. The Palms of his hands started to sweat. He started over thinking all the consequences that could occur.
9:00pm
It's passed the deadline now. His nerves were getting to him.
Cathy came inside the room.
'Scott.' She called.
'Yeah?'
'The offer is over and I'm scared that Void comes after you, me or mom. I can't take another lose, it hurts so bad.' Cathy lost it, she was drowning in her own tears.
'Don't cry, I will make sure he doesn't hurt any of us.' Scott replied giving her a hug.
'Promise?' She said as she raised her pinky finger.
'Promise.' Scott rapped his pinky around hers.
9:05pm
The door bell rang. Scott went down stairs to open it.
When Scott opened the door he was speechless. He held his breath trying to not cry. He collapsed to his knees and help the dead bodies hand as he tried to compose himself.
'Oh my god!' Cathy yelled on the stairs. 'Who's that Scott?'
'Mason, Mason Hewitt. He was Liam's best friend.'
