The shine in her eyes caught him at first sight
The pain she was feeling tore his heart apart
But the thought of taking her shoe off gave her a fright
Only he didn't care, to him she was a piece of art
He took her home to be in her mother's arms
He promised to keep her secret and her from harm
The dream he had now forgotten in the past now
The city and the bay a foolish child's thought
Now he realizes he is not the only outcast
Sophie, a new memory to replace the one he forgot
