"Shoot.." I mumbled to myself, eyeing the fresh new mark starting to appear on my arm. I probably look insane to the old grannies limping around and the prestigious business woman briskly walking past me.

Right now, I'm attempting to juggle six coffees in my hand and 2 bags of bagels in the other. It probably wouldn't be such a hassel if I thought this out first, but of course, the impulse in me had to get taste.

''You just couldn't say no couldn't just say no could you, Post-It Note girl.'' I whispered to myself in spite. That's what they all call me; Post-It Note girl. The sweet girl with the giant glasses and the big green doll eyes who could never say no.The push around, its not new at all. They come up to me all sweet, with puppy dog eyes, sticking out their bottom lip like a young child begging their parent for the first toy they see in a store. They say the same word that gets me every time, 'please'. Yep, that's me..

I mean, its not that I'm too nice, I guess you could say that I was just raised right. "What are you lookin' at?" I spit at the hobo sitting gloomily at the entrance of the door to my building. That brute is there everyday, its getting  pretty annoying.

"Good morning, Xolani!" said one of my closest friends, James, as I slid my ID card through the security slot.

"Morning!" I replied, smiling as sweetly, even though the only thing going through my head right now was 'Hello!! Girl about to die from exhaustion here!"

James stepped forward, and my heart felt a pang of relief, "Here, let me help you with that." Oh thank the God's..

"Thanks.."

"No big deal." he flashed another bright smile as he handled one of the cup holders. He has to be an angel sent from heaven, seriously.

"So.. what are you up too?" I questioned, raising a curious eyebrow.

"I'm heading to the bosses office." he replied with a slight shudder. I threw my head back and laughed like a donkey with pneumonia. That made him laugh too, "Oh come on, he can't be that bad."

"Can't be that bad?!" he exclaimed, "He fired his assistant the first ten minutes."

I rolled my eyes, "What do you expect, she tried to make a move on him."

"Whatever. Well this is my stop, later." He waved, handing me the coffee holder, leaving me to struggle once again. James walked briskly as I looked back at him, "Nice butt!"

"Thanks, I got it all from my mom!" he screamed back, earning looks from the secretary.

I giggled, and shook my head as I pushed the third the button in the elevator. I always loved that guy. The box dinged as it ascended.

I tapped my foot impatiently, eyes scanning the dinty iron shuttle, 'Oh come on..hurry-' ding!

I sighed in relief, I always hated being in small spaces, even if its for a second. But who has time to scale all those steps? More like who has the fitness.

"Oh Xolani! Thank you so much!" Anna, aka, Ms.Talk A-lot said.  Hey, don't judge me. If everyone else is allowed to make up petty nicknames for me, I should be allowed to, too.

"Anytime.." I answered in a frivolous voice, handing the bags and the coffee over to her, and wiping my hands on my skirt afterwards.

"Soo.." lifted my head up, to face an empty hallway. I sighed, 'That's what you get for thinking she would actually be nice to you.' I thought.

I spun around on my heal, and made my way back to my cubical. Once I was there, I plopped myself down in my chair. I spun around once... twice... till I was spinning in a full blown circle. But my knee almost broke when it stopped me on the edge of the desk. Good thing someone happened to be coming my way, because I nearly howled out in pain.

After I recovered, I turned back to face my desk with a grief stricken look. Okay, lets get to work..

"Oh hey, Xolani. Do you mind filling these out for me?" I looked darkly behind my shoulder at the office whore of the century named Jen, "Please? Pretty please?"

I felt a vein in my head pop. But I beamed at her brightly, "Sure!" even though I was actually thinking the complete freaking opposite,

 'You've gotta be shitting me...'
