Colettes POV
-I ran into the room Emmi was sitting in. I saw her on the bed, on her phone. "Are you okay"? I asked. "Fine, what happened"? I was relieved that she was okay, but concerned of what happened. "Someone screamed so I got worried, I just came to check on you". I said. I walked back into the room with the X-rays. "Sorry about that Mrs. Butler, but anyways we've noticed your daughter has a chest tumor, right here". Dave said pointing to under Emmis left lung. "Oh, it's seems pretty big". I said. I was thankful that it wasn't something worse. "What should I give her to make her feel better, if there's anything"? I asked. "We'll send some medicine to your local pharmacy". Dave said. I told him my pharmacy. "And you should also try to get in touch with the hospital or us so we could get a surgery scheduled". He added. "Okay thank you guys again"! I said. I walked to the room Emmi was sitting in. "You ready"? I asked, even though she didn't have much of a choice. She hopped off the bed then followed me out. I checked my phone for the time. It was 1:02pm, so the kids would be getting home soon. "What happened"? Emmi asked. "I'll tell you later, your cousins are coming over for family fun night tonight". I said. She smiled then opened the car door. I clicked my seatbelt then started the car. "I'm gonna go pick up your medicine, then run to the grocery store, do you want me to drop you off first"? I asked. "Sure". Emmi responded. We drove home pretty quickly since the roads were empty.

-Emmis POV
Mom dropped me off, and the entire house was empty. I took my hair out of the messy bun the French braided it. All of the sudden I felt like I couldn't breathe. I texted mom. "Can you come home"? I sent. She called me. I answered the phone then told her. "Okay give me 5 minutes, I'm on my way". She said. "Don't hang up". "I won't mom". I said. I poured myself a glass of water then sat down on the couch. I was pretty excited that our cousins were coming over soon, since we don't see them as much anymore. Dad and some of his friends are working on a new house on the property, but chances are if they finish it it won't be finished until up to two years. "I'm home"! Mom yelled. "I'm alive" I yelled. She laughed. "Okay, so you need to take some of this medicine". She said. She poured what looked like liquid cement into a glass. "Oh I'm not drinking that". I said. I leaned back into the couch away from the drink. "If you drink it now you'll feel better". Mom added. I took a sip. It wasn't so bad so I continued drinking it. Soon, there was only a few drops left. I got up and changed out of my sweatpants into leggings. "Avia in the house"! I heard as the door opened. Gavin and Avia were home from school. "It's freezing out, I think it's gonna snow"! Gavin said, which surprised me because Gavin doesn't normally get cold easily. I walked downstairs into the living room. "Let's look at the weather". I said. I clicked on the remote then flipped through the channels. Finally, we found the weather. "As for tonight folks you should expect some weather around the low 30's and possibly wake up tomorrow with snow on the ground. It shall snow all day tomorrow and possibly into Sunday"! The man said. "Yay"! Avia yelled. Dad was with Daxton and Brock at Brock's after school program. Today it was family dodgeball, so dad was interested. "I'm going to run out and get some more supplies since we might get snowed in". Mom said. She grabbed her keys then left.
