I woke up at the sound of the doorbell. I was about to get annoyed because who wakes up at 8am on a vacation, right?? But when I rubbed my eyes, I saw the sun rays beaming on the veranda reflecting from the Lagoon Pool's water and my annoyance level automatically diminished and a smile formed in my lips. (Look at the picture above!)

I stood up and wore my bathrobe. Paula was not in the room. I went towards the door and opened it. "Good Morning, Ma'am. Your breakfast is served." My eyes widened at the man in front of me, it's Warren. I don't know if it's just me, but his voice sounded like a bedroom voice. He was wearing his muscle t-shirt, just-woke-up hair and his d@mned deepened dimples, oh my legs are turning jelly. I quickly stood up straight, fixed my hair and removed any morning glory lingering on my eyes. "You look more pretty with bare face." He complimented.

"Even if that's sarcastic, I'd still say thank you." I smiled at him sarcastically and rolled my eyes. I opened the door more wider. He was holding a tray, which contains 2 plates of LongaSiLog (Longanisa, Fried Rice and Scrambled Egg), 2 glasses of juice (Pineapple and Orange) and a vase of Sunflower.

I was about to pull the tray but he shouted "No!" and pulled the tray from my hands, "It's a room service not a door service."

"Okay." I raised both my hands like in an "I surrender". I stepped back, held the door for him and he went in. "Hold on, I'll just go to the bathroom." I told him.

I didn't hear his response and he just went to the table near the door of the veranda. I made my way towards the bathroom, I washed my face and brushed my teeth. I wiped my face and combed my hair. I also dabbed some Versace Bright Crystal on my neck and shoulders. I took a deep breath in front of the mirror and told myself: He's just going to deliver the food and put it on the table, don't panic.

"Where's Paula?" I heard him ask. I quickly held the door knob and opened it. I smiled at him acting like this is such a normal thing, you know, having him in this room with just the two of us is such a good idea and I'm not even nervous or anything.

"I don't know, when I woke up she's not here anymore." I walked towards the table and he's standing at the back of the sit, the veranda was on his right. He was looking at me but I was just looking at his neck, chest and the table, never his eyes.

"So I suppose you were awaken by the doorbell?" He asked. I looked at him, he had this apologetic look in his face. I nodded at him. "I'm sorry." He scratched the back of his head.

He went towards the seat (the veranda on my left) in front of his, pulled the chair and let me sat. And then he sat on the chair in front of me, opened the table napkin and placed it on his lap.

"Wait." I said, he looked at me. "You're... Eating with... Me?" I asked him, hesitating with the words. Oh no, say no please.

"Uhm." He looked at my sides, down to his table napkins, and to me again. "Yeah, I'm going to eat with you."

A nervous laugh escaped my lips, "Rea...lly?" I looked at him again, trying to make this appear like a reality in my eyes. I looked at the sides and the lagoon pool. Can I just jump from the veranda to the pool?

"Why, you don't like?" He asked.

I looked at him quickly, and sadness was slowly pulling up in his face. "Of course not!" I placed the table napkin on my lap, he was still looking at me. "I mean, of course not that I don't like. I mean no, wait lemme get this straight." I inhaled and said, "I like it."

He looked at me, surveying if what I told him was real. I smiled at him to convince him more, he responded with his smile. "Well then let's eat!" He tried to sound cheerful.
