Today is our first working day when we came back from Misibis Bay and...

Lianne is not my name anymore.

But, P a r a n o i d.

I'm Paranoid. Nice to meet you all.

"Uy, hello." I said smiling with a low voice, projecting it like nothing is important and that I'm just casually greeting someone I know.

But my smile disappeared from my lips, and my lips formed a straight line. I grunted. I have been practicing how I will say hello to Warren later once I saw him, how I will act naturally and how will I not let anyone know that we are dating already.

But I've done almost 367 styles: from just nodding my head to him once he greet me to doing flirty "hello" while wiggling my eyebrows. And I still cannot find the right way to greet him. It's either I'm too flirty and blushing, or I'm too stiff and seemed like angry.

"Okay, this will be the last, Lianne okay? This will the 368th style..." I said talking to my reflection in front of my bathroom mirror. I raised my left hand, straightened my fingers and smiled, "Hi." In a very pabebe* way.

"Ugghhhhhhhh." I grunted louder, "Hay nako, I don't care about what will happen later. Batman will save the day!"

I walked out of the bathroom, and looked at the clock hanged above the door of my room. It's 10:16.

Paula said they'll fetch me at around 11:30, because the Barangay will be far.

I opened my cabinet, and changed into a shirt, jogger's pants and my white Adidas Stan Smith. And then, I blow dried my hair, and applied sun block.

[1:00pm]
I and Paula are inside the van, she just finished applying a "no makeup" look on me. I bit my lips, and wiped my sweated palms on my jeans.

"Hay nako, you know what I'm not gonna put lipstick on you anymore." Paula said. She looked at the lipstick she was putting the lid on.

"Ha, Why?" I asked.

"Because you've been taking it off for the past 30 minutes!" She looked at me, her eyes playfully glaring at me.

"Sorry." I bit my lips again and looked down.

"Why, what's wrong? You look nervous." I looked at her, she's putting the lipstick on her make-up bag.

"Ha? Nothing..." I looked at the window behind her.

"Hay nako, come on tell me." I can see her looking at me from my peripheral vision.

"I have nothing to tell you, everything's fine. Swear." I looked at her, trying my best to sound convincing. I'm sorry Paula, next time I'll tell you!!

"Well sorry, it looks like there's something wrong. Lianne..." She warned me.

"Swear!" My voice almost shrieked.

"Make sure there is really nothing wrong." She rolled her eyes. "Let's go." She closed her makeup bag, and turned towards the door and stepped out of the van after she pulled it open.

I went down after her, and my heart suddenly started palpitating. When I looked on my eye level, I saw Warren getting off his van too. When he was about to look at me, I looked away. Oh shit.

"Warren!" Paula called him. I placed my hand over Paula's shoulder and gave it a soft press. She looked at me, and I smiled awkwardly. "Why? I thought you've gotten close." She asked.
