Ahhhh! I had a terrible nightmare. Well not exactly a nightmare since it really happened. It keeps coming back to me in a rush. I got up out of bed. I opened the curtains. 'What a beautiful day' I thought. I went to the bathroom,  brushed my teeth, and got ready for the day. I live with my grandparents since my mom is gone and my dad left me when I was five. I made breakfast for the both of us. After what happened to me and my mom, I have to go get questioned by the police. I'm now seeing a psychiatrist do to my night terrors and fear that the kidnapper will return. It's late,  I'm thinking to myself. Why are they keeping me here? I hate being interrogated. I have no choice, I think. "Please, we are just trying to help you." The officer said. "I don't remember anything." I'm lying. "If you really want to help me, let me go." I stare at him for a little while. "Fine but if you start to remember anything, give us a call." He said as he handed me a card. I declined. "Just take it, in case." I grabbed it reluctantly. I grabbed my grandma's hand and rushed out the door. She was truing to catch up with me. The day of the incident was only a week ago. "What happened back there? You can't just walk out on the police just because you want to. I know this is a hard time for you, but please be calm." Grandma said stubbornly. "What? There was nothing left to say! I said enough. They don't need to keep me there, "just because". Why does it even matter?" I yelled at her. Then I quickly calmed down as she touched my shoulder. "I'm sorry. I just wanted to know why you just walked out. My apologies." I breathed heavily. "I know." I whispered. I never argue with her. Suddenly we jumped. Boom!" What was that?" I asked scared. "I don't know." A shiver ran down my spine as I looked out the window. "Ahhhh!" Outside there stood a tall man with a horrifying mask. I couldn't speak. No words escaped my mouth fast enough to warn my grandma. He disappeared. "What? What's wrong?" She asked worriedly. She was just starting at me. "Th th there. He was there." I said shaking. "Who?" She said softly confused. "Him!"
