"What exactly happened last night?" Said the cop.   I didn't answer him. I'm not really fond of cops. I just stare at him. I'm Annabelle. My mother and i were kidnapped,  and I'm the only one who made it out alive.  Let's start from the beginning or at least what I can remember. I was shouting, hoping for someone to hear me. I just could not stand the sight of all this blood."Annabelle. Help me." My mother cried. I thought to myself why would someone do this. I was scared to death. My mom and so many others just laying there on the floor. They're all wounded, some even dead. I keep redialing the numbers 911, and noone answers. Her bruised, purple eye is slowly closing. I slap her, not to hurt her, but to keep her awake. We are in a shed in the woods. Suddenly the tv starts turning on. It is the news. I ignore it and turn back my focus to my mom. She's bleeding badly, but I feel she's going to make it, I hope she's going to make it. The killer fled hours ago, leaving me here with all these dying people. Suddenly I turn back to the tv . It's about an author who died and their book and something else. But what really caught my attention, was what the book was about. It was about a person who lost everything. I thought to myself 'Wow, aren't we alike.' I pause my thoughts as I here sirens. I don't want to leave my mom, but what choice do I have? I leave my mom and start running outside. Yes! It's the police. Thank goodness! The cops step out of their vehicle. I start crying, because it's a miracle,  as they ask me all these questions. I don't actually know the answers,  but I let them spend their time asking anyway. I just remembered about my mom. I grab the cop, not paying attention to what he's saying. The cop gasped at the sight and walked over to me asking more questions. "Is that your mom? Sorry, but if so then she's dead. What happened here?" He asks. I start sobbing. My mom is dead. There only about ten people out of fifty that are at least alive. Doctors start rushing in.  I stand there watching them pick up all the bodies. Then in the corner of my eye I see something move outside. "There! Go, he is the killer." But the window was open. He threw in a lit beer bottle. I started running as fast as I could. I managed to escape the fire that is now devouring the big shed.
