Kayla's POV
"Kay!! Wake up!"
"Ok mom!"I rubbed my eyes and opened them. I saw my usual spot, usual place that I go through every morning. I got up, walking in my soft fuzzy wolf slippers. I then grabbed my light blue towel and headed for the bathroom. On the way there, an unfamiliar sound tapped on the window, that sent shivers down my spine. I looked at the window, surprisingly no one was there. Except a note.
The abandoned wreck, after school.

I opened my locker and a note fell down. I went to go grab it, but someone else's hand caught it first. He gave it to me after. "Thank-" I was going to say thank you, but I didn't have the chance to say. The only person I see walking away is Luke. Luke Hemmings, the school's most humble and kind and nice. I really want to know more about him, but his outside's exterior shyness shallows him.

"Hello?!" I said. Nothing but echo rang. "Hello?!" I said, either loudly, or me just getting used to the silence. "Hey" Luke said coming from nowhere. Me jumping a little bit isn't me. "Hey uh Luke" "Kayla, this is Michael, Ashton and Calum" Chorus of hi's and hey's floated. "Luke, can I talk to you?" "Sure" "Luke, first of all, how'd you know my address, second, why didn't you talked to me earlier this morning at school? Third, why'd you make it creepy?" "Kayla, did you read the note?" I just stood there, trying to make up a lie. I took a couple of huffs and breaths with my scrunched brows. Once I was done with the whole making-up-a-lie thing, I took my backpack and dug for the note. I got the note and read it out loud. "Kayla, we used to hang out before. That's why I knew your address. Second, I'm really shy, a-and awkward. Third, I didn't know you thinked of that" I said out loud whispering and understanding the last sentence. "Luke, how'd you know of this?" "Can we talk about that when you're ready"

I took my phone out from my backpack. I have to rely everything on this backpack because I don't have any pocket on my skirt.
Honey, cone hone right now, me, Kitt and aome few of your unclea and aunts are tripping somewhere. Gotta go and leave our goodbyes right?
xoxo Mom"Luke, guys, I really have to go, although I'd love to stay and chat, but I got bussiness to take care of at home. See ya!" I ran to my house which is a couple of blocks away from here. I stopped running at the third block to my house. Four blocks exactly. I usually ride on my pennyboard, and I made a mistake of not bringing it. I was breathing hard until a black Ferrari slowed down to my pace. The one who sits on shotgun rolled down his window. "Kayla! You wanna hop in?" Michael said. I won't forget his signature red hair. "Sure, just a block left now, and you can drop me off of Starbucks" My house was near Starbucks, every girl's dream. I chuckled at what I thinked. I opened the back door to see Calum and Ashto squishing so I can fit with them. I sat on the carseat and closed the door. There was still plenty of space so Ashton moved a little closer, so Calum has space for himself.

A couple of minutes and I was home. "Thanks guys!" I waved bye at them and so they did the same. I was holding my CottonCandy Frapp on my hands as I enter the door. Mom and Dad's suitcases were piled up. "So, when will you be back?" "Three months. Is it okay for you hon?" Dad asked worringly. "Yeah" "Okay honey, call us when you need us" "Okay Mom. Have a safe flight you guys! I'm gonna miss you Mom, Dad" We three hugged tightly. "We will too"
::
They left me home alone which doesn't really bother me. I was getting ready for bed. Brush my teeth, took a shower, said my prayers. I cuddled under the duvet until a ding from my phone blasted.
Goodnight Kayla
