Thursday morning. That is Kyungsoo's favorite time of the week. Every Thursday morning is spent outside (or inside depending on the weather) of his favorite café. The little café located on the corner of one of the streets near the university. Kyungsoo had a thing for sitting outside, staring at the vehicles and people that made their way past him as he sipped on his cup of Joe. Do people even call it that anymore? Kyungsoo loves calling it that. One might ask themselves why Kyungsoo loves sitting outside so much. There's too much noise, wouldn't he prefer to sit inside where it's cozy and there's soft jazz playing amongst the hushed voices? It was quite rare for Kyungsoo to sit inside. Personally, it made him feel lonely. Sitting outside gave him this odd nostalgic feeling. Instead of it being a bit burdensome, it was slightly relaxing. Some days he would even pull out his earphones to enjoy some chill music. Today though, Kyungsoo's mind was elsewhere. Halfway through the first semester, so he was thinking about what to do during the holidays. Perhaps he'll spend it with his friends like he did last year. Being with his friends made his heart create a warm feeling. Although, it wasn't necessarily that way //all// the time. Of course he loved his friends, but sometimes seeing them made him feel alone. Not alone emotionally or mentally, but rather romantically. Byun Baekhyun and Park Chanyeol. Kyungsoo smiled at the thought of how perfectly fitting the pair is. They will definitely be together for a long time. If only. . .

Kyungsoo could find love like that. Everyone knows that love is not easy. Love is patient, but Kyungsoo is willing to wait. In the end, it'll all be worth it. Suddenly, Kyungsoo's thoughts were interrupted by ----- "Is this seat taken?" Kyungsoo looked up to see a handsome young man (probably about his age) smile at him warmly. Kyungsoo stared at the man's smile in awe, forgetting what the latter had asked. "Oh, no. Go ahead." Kyungsoo seemed to compose himself quickly, for the stranger's sake, of course. "Thanks." The man flashed another smile, but this time his perfect, sparkling teeth were visible. Wait, Kyungsoo thought. Why would the stranger take a seat with me when every table here is empty?... Kyungsoo furrowed his brows. "Out of curiosity... why did you sit with me when practically every table out here is vacant?" The stranger looked around, down at his lap, then at Kyungsoo. "Hmm... 'cause two is better than one." Such a simple answer, but it satisfied Kyungsoo's curiosity... for now. After the boy got his order taken, he looked over at Kyungsoo and decided to break the silence. "Sorry if I disturbed you by sitting here." He apologized. "No, it's no bother. I promise." Kyungsoo gave him a small smile. The stranger really wasn't a bother at all. His company was, in fact, nicely welcomed by the older. "My name is Jongin by the way. I'm a student at the university down the street." The stranger had a name. Jongin... "Really? I haven't seen you around much. I attend the university as well. What year are you in?" Kyungsoo couldn't help his curiosity and the young man seemed extremely friendly. "Oh, I'm a first year! Perhaps that's why you haven't ever seen me." The boy emitted a short chuckle. "But I think I may have seen you around before..." Jongin's face twisted into a face full of concentration with a slight of frustration. After a while he looked up at Kyungsoo. Absentmindedly, Kyungsoo widened his eyes more than they already were. "OH! I remember you now! You're that boy that always walks around really fast with his eyes wide open and ready to attack whoever steps in his way!" Kyungsoo suddenly looked down while a light pink color tinted his cheeks. "Haha, yeah I guess." Kyungsoo didn't really know what to say next. He decided to steer the conversation away from him this time and focus more on the male in front of him. "So how do you like uni so far?" Jongin took a minute before answering, but when he did Kyungsoo was glad to hear his answer. "It's acceptable, haha. I mean, I took a couple advanced placement classes in high school, so I got a jiff of what to expect... sorta. School-wise, I like it. Social-wise... I don't know I have these two friends-" Kyungsoo felt curious. Too curious. So curious that he interrupted the boy. "Are they problematic? Sorry for interrupting." He felt bad after having cut off Jongin's storytelling. "No, it's fine! I'm glad you're curious. But, no. Actually, they're really fun. They both have similar yet awfully different personalities. They're quite interesting to observe." Kyungsoo felt a bit of relief at the unexpected answer. "What about you? How's school been?" Kyungsoo mentally took a deep breath before answering. It wasn't everyday that some random student from the same school as you, stops by the same coffee shop as you, asks if the seat besides yours is taken, then asks you how your life has been. Either way, Kyungsoo was thankful towards Jongin for taking an interest in him. "Well, it's my second year at the university, so I kinda know my way around pretty well. School-wise, I've always been on track. Social-wise... I only have a few friends, but I treasure them to death." It was true. Kyungsoo was quite fond of his BaekYeol. "Hyung! Is it cool if I call you that?" Jongin couldn't hide his excitement. He loved meeting upperclassmen and after meeting this one he knew he was in for a memorable year.
