My nerd life

This story is about a teenage girl(16) who has only 1 friend and is shy to everyone in school. she is good looking but hides her natural beauty by wearing oversized t-shirts and her nerd glasses just because she is a shy person. let's begin! (the schools and places are all made up)

Hi im hunny. That name was given by my mother who is literally obsessed with honey. Im a nerd. I've had only 1 friend for like... forever? I thought nobody wanted to be my friend since 1st grade when actually i'm a VERY VERY shy person. One time during 1st grade, there's this boy name Jacob he wanted to be my friend. He came to me and asked "hey what's your name? Can i be your friend?" I stood still and pretend to be a rock. I don't even dare blink my eyes cause you know... i'm a rock. Until then, he didn't talk or even look at me.

First day of freshmen

"WAAKEEE UUPPPPPP YOU LAZY PIG!!!!" roared my older brother, Danny. I forgot to mention that i have an older brother which is only a year older than i am. I got up from bed, punched him slightly on the chest "geez i'm not deaf". It was 7am which means i have a lot of time to get dressed. i picked out a t-shirt which has the word 'geek' on it and a black skinny jeans. Since i had a lot of time, i decided to straighten my hair(gotta look cute on the first day of school, even though i know i'm not cute). When it was 8am i wore my pair of red converse and head to school with my brother in his car.

"Damn gurl you look hella fine." said one of my brother's friend, Alec. "Oh no you didn't!" Danny sounded angry and slapped the back of Alec's head. Danny is over protective which is what an older brother should be. But he is overly super ultra protective of me especially when it involves boys. Alec was sitting beside me in the passenger seat and he had his eyes sticked to me throughout the whole ride. I was first to get out of the car since i felt uncomfortable.

I got out my handphone and dialled my bestfriend's number, Rosie. I was ecstatic when i found out she'll be going to Trinity High School with me! I was super early for school. So i had time to roam around the school. I was passing by the lockers and a group of boys were looking at me. Its like.... they hadn't seen a girl before. One of the boys had his eyes bulged out and that scare the freaking crap out of me. I had to walk faster as i heard one of them were saying "look at her body, she's freaking hot" And now i was running! I had 2 options 1: go in the janitor's closet. 2: go to the cafeteria. The janitor's closet wasn't such a good idea. You might not know there would be a cleaner sitting inside the room, probably fapping(hahahaha)

So i went straight to the cafeteria. My phone was ringing and it had to be Rosie. I told her to meet me at the Cafeteria. I'm so glad she's on her way right now and i wouldn't have to be alone while the group of boys are disturbing me. "OMG HUNNY!!!!!!" Rosie literally jump at me from behind. She looked beautiful as always. Sometimes i feel like i wasn't meant to be friends with Rosie because she's way prettier compared to me. Rosie was wearing a dress which had flowers on them and a pair of boots. She had a own style and her sense of fashion is stunning. We hugged each other and Rosie's eyes was scanning my outfit. "wow hunny, you really look pretty." She had this huge grin and still scanning me. "No i am not! Read my t-shirt rose, it says 'geek'. You're the one who is pretty as always"

"Didn't anyone told you before? No matter what you wore, you'll look pretty hunny." Rosie interlock our arms and head for our lockers. "Well yeah about 2 people and a group of boys said i was pretty today including you but i personally think that i'm not. Look at me! I'm a nerd!" i said and emphasizing the word 'nerd'. Rosie had this shocked face "wait hold up, a group of boys?! On the first day of school?! you gotta tell me everything."

*Hunny told Rosie about Alec and the group of boys* in their first lesson(chemistry)

"See! You never believed me. You are pretty hunny. You're just too blind by your 'geekness' to see that. Or maybe your stupid glasses are blocking your eyes." Rosie smirked and sat down beside me. "Okay class welcome to Trinity High School. I'm Mr Gilley or you may call me Prof." there stood a man wearing a white coat. probably in his mid 40s. "We are not going to start any lessons today so i highly suggest that each one of you should introduce yourself to the class, since we will be going to do tons of project in a group together"

everyone introduced themselves including hunny and they're heading for the cafeteria.

While i was walking towards the cafeteria with Rosie, a group of girls was looking at us. One of them said " Ew a nerd." she flipped hair blonde hair. "Both of them are actually pretty you know" a girl beside the blonde haired girl said really loud. And gave us a sincere smile. "What a bunch of sluts. And are their clothes ripped off by a dog or something? i mean look at the girl with the blonde hair's jeans, there're holes on it! And don't get me started with her shirt. It looked literally what a hobo should wear with all those holes and ripped off sides on her shirt!" Rosie was talking really loud with her hands flying everywhere. "Just ignore them Rose, she's referring to me not you. I'm obviously the nerd she was talking about." I took Rosie's hand and sitting down at the far end of the cafe.

I was about to get up and get something to eat but i immediately sit back down when i realised that most of the boys had their eyes on us. I pinched Rosie's hand and told her to look behind. "Why are people staring at us?" rosie was looking a bit frightened. "i dont know but i'm starving! Let's go get something to eat together so it won't be awkward." I quickly stand up and head for the counter, looking down all the way.

"Hi there. You look familiar......" a guy said to me. I had to double look at him. His eyes were the colour of the sea, a light blue and i could see his eyes sparkling. I could look at him all day. He had a baby face which i found so attractive. I was admiring his face and he snapped his fingers at me. "Enjoying the view?" he laughed. "Ummmmmmm sorry.. Yeah i was trying to figure out who you were. You look familiar too." i quickly come up with a reason and trying hard not to look at him for too long. "Maybe i've seen you around this area but i'm not sure. Meet me after school over here. i gotta catch up with my friends." He said while walking backwards slowly, still looking at me. "uh sure bye." I quickly turn my back at him and walk towards my table.

"hunny, who's that handsome guy you're talking to"? rosie asked while putting her tray down. "I dont know but he seems so familiar, he wanted to meet me after school at the cafe." "OMG REALLY?! you're so lucky!!! you better meet him." Rosie said, giving me her death stare. "you know i'm shy!!! what am i going to do?" i said while chewing a piece of pizza. "Just go with the flow. You'll be fine."
