My nerd life

Part 2

I was woken up by the sound of Danny's car honking. I checked my clock and it was 8am?! 'OMG I'M GOING TO BE LATE AND IT WAS ONLY THE 2ND DAY OF SCHOOL NOOOOO....'

I thought to myself while i was washing up. I chose to wear my light pink dress today since that was the first thing that caught my eye in my wardrobe. The dress outlined my curves which i thought was slutty so i covered it with a baggy jacket.

I rushed out, leaving my clothes in a heap on the floor.(well, you know girls.)

I wore my converse high-cut again. I didn't had breakfast as i was running late for school. Luckily Trinity High was just 10 mins away from my house. 'I cant believe Danny left me!' I guess now is a good time to list down all the pros and cons of having to walk to school.

Pros : i won't get to see Alec and his nasty eyes scanning my clean body.

Cons : i will get sweaty especially under my armpits.

I reached school just in time! Thank god. I was walking down the corridor and again.... All eyes were on me. Can today get any worse?! I hate to be the centre of attention. And as usual, i looked down on the floor, walking quickly. (Running to be exact)

I was running to class with my head still looking at the ground. And i hit someone! '' oh no i..i..i'm so sorry! I wasn't looking where i w..w..as going!'' I stammered and finally looking up at the person who i ran into.

''Its okay. Oh hey it's you again!'' His eyes sparkling...

Its that boy with the blue eyes again. I was so mesmerised by his eyes and i couldn't get any word out of my mouth. I was simply amazed by his beauty. He ruffled his hair and made it look messy(which is cute).

''I..i have t..to go...'' Stammering my words once again. My cheeks are now crimson red. I can't help but blush when he looked at me. Dang those eyes!

Remember when i said 'can't today get any worse?' Yeahhh... It just did.

Today's first lesson is Trig. I love maths! But Rosie was nowhere to be found in the classroom. Oh hell no.. She must be having other lessons.

Then who am i supposed to sit with?! Who am i going to talk to?!

Pros: i get to listen to the teacher

Cons: she's my only friend at school :(

I was late for school by just mere seconds but i was the first few who settled down in class first. Suprising eh? I was waiting patiently, sitting at the most upfront of the class, waiting for others to settle in.

And then came in the boy... With the mesmerising blue eyes. 'Oh no why must he be in my class....' I thought to myself. What was more worse is that, he came and sat beside me.

I could sense he was looking at me but i don't dare move any muscle. I was hardly breathing! I was all tensed up. "Hey relax.. I don't bite." He finally spoke to me.

I tried to relax. "I'm sorry i'm just shy...." I was finally able to speak without stammering. Ok hunny, breathe in breathe out. Surprisingly that technique worked!

"Im hunny." I blurted out. Omg what am i doing?! This was the first time i told a guy my name. Usually it was the guy who made the first move and asked what's my name but now it was completely opposite.

"Im landon, you have a nice name." He was smiling so sincerely. I tried not to look at his eyes since i was so easily traumatised by them.

Soon the teacher came and an hour went by. It was finally time for our break. I got up from my seat quickly and rushed out. I wouldn't want him to follow me or anything.

I walked in the cafeteria and i immediately saw Rosie. Oh boy i couldn't tell you how elated i was just to get to see my best friend. I can't wait to tell her what happened during Trig!

Just as i was walking towards Rosie, i heard someone calling my name. I turn around and i saw landon waving at me! I gave a warm smile and i hurriedly turn and walk away.

I was sitting with Rosie at the far end of the cafe. (I supposed that'll be our spot) Landon came to our table and asked "hey do you want to join me and my friends?"

"Ummm but you're a senior! If we were to sit with you, that'll be awkward." I told him without hesitation.

"Landon baby! Why are you talking with these 2 nerds?!" Claire said while playing with her blonde hair.

Oh yeah im sure you guys rememberd claire? Yep she's the girl with the blonde hair and called me a nerd.

"Claire, stop calling me baby. And i'm just being friendly to them. Ugh" Landon being straight forward and he had this 'disgusted' face.
