part 6

"So how was your 'date' yesterday with landon?" Rosie said that sheepishly.

"It was okay i guess, he did mentioned about Claire being his gf though" i was looking down on the floor and i hope Rosie doesn't notice that im actually feeling subdued. 

"That blonde hair bitch is his gf?! I don't even find Claire that hot. Omg i think there's something wrong with his eyes. You better donate your glasses to him." Rosie said that with a smug. 

"Ha-ha very funny Rose." i rolled my eyes at her. 

I saw Landon walked past me with his group of friends. My heart fluttered when we made eye contact. He gave me a quick smile which instantly made my legs wobbly. He ruffled his eyes and avert his eyes away from me. Oh god why are you doing this to me?! I'm sure Rosie would notice my bright red cheeks from blushing too much. 

Although Landon has many 'popular' friends, he doesn't seem to fit in. I have to admit that his friends are in that 'jerk'' category. But landon is different. His 'popular' friends wouldn't even exchange glances with girls like me,  ahem 'nerds'. But landon is the opposite, he even asked me out for dinner! From my perspective, landon is left-outed. He don't deserve to be friends with jerks!

Which is why i only have one friend which is Rosie. And she is perfect for me! Rosie is not nerdy, she's pretty cool i must say. We both laugh at things that are pointless and not even funny. She understands me. And most importantly, she is very pretty!! 

"HEY NERD!' someone shouted from behind. 

And since i am a nerd, i turned to look who it was. I saw Claire looking at me, narrowing her eyes. I was involuntarily shaking. I clasped Rosie's arms. 

"I'm pretty sure you enjoyed your dinner with my boyfriend huh." Claire folded her arms, looking up and down at my body. 

"How did you know?" I blurted out and immediately regret what i just said. 

"That's for me to know and you to find out. Now bare the consequences you little nerd." Claire retored and getting closer to me. 

"Claire! Don't talk to her like that!" a familiar voice said that. Omg i must be dreaming! Landon is here to rescue me! My hero........ 

"What?! Who is she to you?!" Claire screeched. Landon promptly bob his head towards the corridor, signaling me to run away. 

I clasped on to Rosie's arm and scurried away. 

*lunchtime*

I saw Claire's group staring at me. The worst thing that could happen was to be humiliated by 'The wanabes'. Yep, The Wanabes are Claire and her clans. That nickname was brought up by Rosie. At first she named them, The Bitches. It sounded too mean. Hahaha. 

I looked down and ostensibly, Rosie doesn't give a flying duck about them, so she stared back. That could only aggravate the situation. 

"Rose, quit looking at them. You'll make things worse for me!" I nudged her leg under the table. 

Rosie's eyes were bulging and she had a huge grin forming on her face. Her face looked exactly like the girl 'overly attached girlfriend'. (If you don't know about her, search for her on youtube)

"hunny, i'm sorry Claire shouted at you. I'm the one at fault, you shouldn't take the blame." That could only be one person, landon. No wonder Rosie was smiling. Landon locked his gaze on me. He gripped my hand, sending jolts of electricity to flow in my body. I gasped. 

I rapidly took my hand away from his when i saw Claire walking towards us. 

"I guess someone hasn't learnt her lesson yet." Claire eyeing me and landon. "In case you haven't noticed, landon is mine. So back off nerd." Claire took landon's hand and asked "Why are you still lingering here?"

"Stop it! Don't be such a bitch, Claire. To be frank, i've never liked you! This is all a game. The reason why i asked you out is because, my friends dare me to date you for a whole month. And i honestly can't stand a week being with you! And can you please stop acting as if it's one hell of an issue." Landon said that out loud. I'm pretty sure the whole school cohort overheard us they are facing us right now. 

Claire's face was turning red from anger. She look appalled and slapped landon's face. 

I immediately clasped landon's hand and asked "oh no..... are you okay? i'm sorry she did that to you..." 

"I'm ok. Finally, i let that all out. Someone should have the bravery to step up and call her a bitch or something." Landon said that while patting his face. Claire left her red hand print on landon's face hahahahaha! I tried not to laugh. Gosh landon was blunt but someone should really tell Claire that she's a bitch. I bet none of her clans liked her. 

Landon glared at me, i could feel my cheeks burning. "You do realise that you are still holding my hand right?" 

I looked at our interlocked fingers. OMG! I promptly unlocked my fingers from his with no delay. 

This is, by far the best and worse day of my life, ever!
