"You again?"
We exchange glares at each other for a few more seconds until our adviser speaks up. "Oh, you two know each other?"
I stop glaring at him and we look at her. "No, Ma'am, we just happened to bump into each other in the hallway."
"Oh, I see," she smiles at us. "I hope you two get along, then."
Get along? Maybe not. Although, this is a one-in-a-million chance to meet a Japanese guy! And a cute one at that--
NO! He's not cute! (−_−;)Rox, calm down, you're just overthinking that because you saw a Japanese guy for the first time! He's annoying...
"Hm, where will you sit..." She looks around for a vacant chair, and she seems to spot one nearby us.
I have a bad feeling...
"You may sit behind Ms. Ford's chair." Oh man. What a nice place for him to sit in. Behind my best friend's chair too. How great.
He walks over to the chair and settles in, placing his rather small bag under the table.
To my surprise, Nelie turns her head toward Akira and smiles. "Nice to meet you, Rei-kun!"
He smiles back. "No need to address me formally; just call me Akira." He pauses. "... Say, I saw you awhile ago."
"Oh, she's my best friend," I butt in.
He looks at me and nods in response. "She's way calmer than you." He chuckles lightly and then faces the front.
Koitsu. Wa. Hontou. Meiwakunaaa. [This guy is really annoying.]
"Class, keep quiet while waiting for your Biology teacher, okay? I will be back later," the adviser walks out the room, waving her hand goodbye.
I sigh, leaning onto the back of my chair. "Of all seats you can take, it has to be near me..."
I can feel Akira shrugging his shoulders. "What can I do? It's the teacher's choice."
"You do know you can request a seat change, right?" I turn at him, at first shocked at how close our faces were, then my eyes narrowed to a glare. "Please, move away?"
"How sweet," I hear Nelie's sarcastic murmur.
We both turn our heads to her direction and yell "Shut up!"
He sighs as he turns to look at me. "What's your name, Ms. Moody?"
"I'm not moody. And it's Roxie Hanns. Be sure to remember that," I turn my back on him.
"Mhm," he mumbles. "Moody Roxie. It rhymes. No doubt you're like that."
"Shut up."
"Nah, you shut up."
"You shut up, baka!"
"Anata wa baka!"
"Iya da!"
"Here we go againnn..." Nelie sighs and gently places her forehead onto her table, arms drooping lazily on her sides.
This is going to be a looong day...

Akira's POV (Yayyy XD)
I feel uneasy, even if I already feel comfortable with these two girls. Who wouldn't feel so when you're a new guy in school and you're the only one who is different in terms of nationality?
It's a good thing Moody and Nel are otakus, I can fit in somehow. Not that I'm an otaku though. I just know some of the anime they talk about.
"Would Akira-kun like to join us?" Nel looks at me and smiles.
