CHAPTER ONE:

I lazily climb out of bed. I put on a t-shirt and walk into the kitchen. The other boys made me sleep in the living area because I have a bit of a cold. I stretch out my arms and yawn. Michael walks in and goes straight to the fridge. He pulls out leftover pizza and wings from our dinner last night. I walk over to the cabinet and lull out some bread. I drop it in the toaster and walk over to Michael.

“Morning Sunshine” he teases.

“Morning Michael,” I respond. “How are you this morning?”

A very loud Calum entering the kitchen interrupts us.

“Morning mates,” he says to the both of us. “how is everyone?”

We both reply with a “good” and I walk over and pick up my toast. I began to eat it plain because we are out of butter, vegemite, nutella and cheese. Figures.

Luke enters the room and asks if anyone wants to go to Starbucks. With a bit too much excitement, I respond with a “YES ME!”

We get into the car and drive there. Luke tells me to go ahead and order while he goes to the toilet.

The man at the counter asks me for my order.

“The usual, please, Rico” I tell the man.

“Ok Mr. Irwin that’ll be £5.” He tells me.

I pay for the drinks and take them to a table to wait for Luke. As a I walk to the table, I run into someone and spill my coffee all over her. She looks up at me with huge green eyes.

It’s her. It’s the girl. No it can’t be. I look down at her and notice her dark brown hair in a ponytail. Yes, it’s her.

“What the hell?!” She screams at me.

“Oh my, I’m so sorry! Please, let me help you with th-” She cuts me off.

“No stop, just watch where you’re going next time, Jesus!”

She pushes past me and ran out of the shop. I watch her run to her car, and she drives away.

I turn around and look just to find everyone staring at me, even Luke.

I run back up to the counter.

“Rico, I am so sorry! I didn’t mean for any of that to happen!” I explain to him.

“Mr. Irwin it’s perfectly alright. Ms. Taylor hasn’t had the best week, you see.” He tells me.

“Oh, ok. And what did you say her name was?” I ask him.

“Violet Taylor.” Rico says.

“Thank you so much Rico. Luke, lets go!” I exclaim.

Violet Taylor. I like the sound of that.
