It Was Only You

Rain's Pov:

On the way to the dress place all the moms have something to say about the wedding. Vi and I just ignore them and have our own quiet conversation. When we get there we all walk in and the lady at the front asks if she could help us. I take the moms and have them looking for dresses while I made sure the other girls get there. When we are all there I take them into the waiting room for the dressing area while Vi and the some ladies went to the dressing room to get the dress on. I can't wait for all the girls to see the dress Vi picked out, they will love it.

Vi comes out with the ladies and every single one of us were quiet and quiet could be. All of the moms run up and look at the dress better and all of the girls get up and run to hug Vi. I don't seem to understand what was so important about a wedding dress and why everyone made a big deal out of it, but hey whatever floats their boat works with me. The ladies come over to where I am to give them all some space. I turn to one of the ladies and asked them a question they probably never got.

" Excuse me Miss Lovegood.....would you and your ladies mind helping us find bridesmaids dresses that would go with the wedding dress."

 " Is she the bride and is that the dress she is getting?"

" Yes ma'am it is."

 " Then we would love to help."

 " Thank you very much. I know you must get many customers here who need wedding dresses."

 " No not really. You would be surprised at how few customer we get here. Some just come to get ideas then go somewhere else to get the dress."

" That's terrible."

 " We know. They have even said that they might make this building into something else putting us out of jobs."

 " What would they make this into then?"

 " I don't know. I just hope the they don't...I love my job here and it's closer to home."

" I tell you what...if you help me find the perfect dress for the bridesmaids I will put in a good word with some people."

" What good would that do?"

" If they do put this business out then I will buy this building and turn it into an office building for my work and I'll make sure that you stay here and work for me."

" You would do that for me?"

" I promise and promises are something that I don't break. Here is another thing, you can choose anyone you want to also come with you and work with you."

 " Thank you so much! I surely appreciate this offer."

 " No problem sweetie. Now what kind of dresses do you carry?"
