Arbel screamed in Fear as his Machine turned towards the Planetary Surface after one of the Imps had blown off one of his Engines. Looking out the Window of his Craft, he saw the burning remains hang on to some last cables until one after the other, they fell off and burned away in the increasing, unstopped wake of the Atmosphere.
This is it. First Flight, I'm Done. Fucking Imps!!
Arbel cursed in his head, repeating what he had learned less than 4 weeks ago in Flight Training.
Just this time, it was real, and the craft he sat in was tumbling in a chaotic spin towards Death.
Luckily, the Ties had broken off shortly after he had lost control over his craft.
Probably because they knew they didn't need to invest anymore time in his death.
They didn't even bother finishing me off...
Arbel cursed whatever word he knew to curse at his controls, his craft, his luck and his life until at about 4 Clicks above ground, he regained control over his Fighter and managed to pull it back into a Horizontal Flight."Good Girl... "
He mumbled at his Fighter, patting it subconsciously, then he took at look at the Instruments, telling him that he should land soon.
Arbel brought the Fighter down near what looked like a Medium sized Town, still far enough to be unseen but close enough to walk to without dying. Flying around the area looking for a good place to land, he finally decided to hide the Fighter in a Small Cavern that was at the foot of a mountain and opened the Canopy. Of course, the Steps that would usually retract out the side to make the 2 Meters to the Ground didn't do what they should. Partially because just as the landing gear touched the ground the power ran out, partially because where the Steps used to be was a large, black hole from one of the TIE's cannons.
"Damn."
Arbel looked up to his Astromech, opening his mouth to order the Small droid to start with the repairs as soon as it got out, just to see the spherical head of his R2 Unit missing, roughly ripped off with only the lower remains sticking in the socket.
"Fuck..."
So much for a Quick call for help.
Given the Fact that he wore a quite Characteristic Orange Flight suit, he had to change into something less obvious soon. Thanks to the Wisdom of the Flight Engineers of Incom, he had a small storage area on the Side of his Craft where a Survival Kit, some tools and a second pair of clothes waited to be used.
Now Wearing a Gray Pair of Pants together with a light jacket, his blaster hidden underneath, he wandered off towards the Town which he had seen while in the Air.
The Sun stood high in the Sky as he set off, wandering trough untouched, green lands, seeing a dense Forrest in the distance, passing a deep cliff, until he finally reached the outskirts of said settlement in the setting sun.
He had to find some place where he would find both an Open Ear and an Open mouth, so he could find out where he was and what the people in this area thought about both Rebellion and Imperials.Just a moment after, his eyes found what they were looking for:
A Few doors ahead, a bright glowing shield said "Cantina", with a couple shady people sitting in front of it, drinking indefinable liquids and catcalling passing Women until one of them walked off to an Alleyway at the Side to follow his bodily urges and take a piss.
Arbel walked past the people and into the smoky Cantina, ordered a drink and took a seat at the bar.
Taking a few slips, he looked around himself and tried to see the faces of the other Patrons, sitting with him at the bar or at various tables spread around the Room.
Then, the barkeeper walked up to him and began to speak."Ye, boi, wha can I do fo ya? Neva seen ya fece in he'r befo. Ya lookin fo somthin?"
The thick accent of the Barkeeper combined with the greasy look of his hair and the stains on his shirt made clear that Arbel had managed to find himself in one of the more backwards parts of the Universe.
But it had a Friendly Feeling to it, if you look aside the smell of Puke, Violence and Cheap Liquor, it indeed had a friendly feeling.
At the edge of the Room, a couple sat in a Bay and shared a plate, on another side there were two elders who played a game.
And asides from the Music that played in the Background, it was relatively quiet.
