A Star Wars short story written as a Valentine's Day gift for my Star Wars loving hubby! We didn't want to spend a million dollars, and I wanted to write something he'd love! (It's a secret still though so don't tell him! LOL) Carvan Reseda is a talented X-Wing pilot who leads a team of very talented X-wing pilots called Teal-Squadron, named so because he doesn't want just to be another Green-Squadron and he loves to be secretly ridiculous. Among his team are several men and women he trained with back in the early days of the rebellion, including one Aria Wolfe who's been his best friend since day one. But now that there is hope on the horizon, Carvan is starting to feel some strange emotions welling up in his chest every time he sees her. Yet he must focus. The Death Star has been destroyed, but the clean up of the Empire is just beginning. The Teal-Squadron is has been instructed to infiltrate and take down a hidden Empire base in the forests Elrood, a planet on the Elrood-Derilyn Run. The team would shoot down the defenses to allow renowned smuggler and war hero Han Solo to get in and take down the leaders and get much needed information. With the ridiculous Teal-Squadron, what could go wrong?
