*~Your P.O.V~*

I headed to the Hotel that L told me to go, I find it strange that he wanted my help on the investigation, maybe he just wanted me to reveal myself.
I knocked at the door
"Come in" He said, I took a deep breath and put my hand over the door knob, I took a step back when it turned and the door opened, I looked up to see Ruyzaki, or should I say, L.
"Are you planning on standing out here all day?" He asked, I brushed my hair behind my ear
"No I...I was just about to come in...what's the hurry?" I asked
"E-Every second we waste Kira is killing more criminals, right?" Did he stutter?
"Yes." I said walking in
"Take a seat" He said giving me a cup of tea
"Thanks..." I murmured "So what do you know about Kira?" I asked, he looked at me
"He's childish and he hates to lose..." He said, L paused for a moment
"How do you know that?" I asked
"Because I'm also childish and I hate to lose...that's why I know..." He said
"But you called me here to talk about the investigation and not Kira, right?" I asked
"Well...Hum...N-Not really...And I didn't call you to talk about Kira either..." He murmured and rubbed the back of his neck
"Why did you call me then?" I asked frowning
"Well..."
"yes?..." I asked
"Hum...I...Are you gonna eat that piece of cake?" He asked pointing at the cake he brought
"Well, yes" I said
"Oh..." He said looking down, I sighed and handed him the cake, he looked up at me like he was telling me to eat it
"Seriously, you can have it. It's no big deal." I said, he smiled at me
"Really? I mean, are you sure you don't want it?" He asked
"Just eat it" I said
"Thanks..." He murmured.

When he finished the cake, he ate the strawberry and looked at me
"But this is not why I called you here..." He said
"So why did you call me here?! Do you want help with the investigation or not?! I'm just wasting my time while I could be looking for Kira On.My.Own!" I said standing up and walking towards the door but he grabbed me by my arm
"Please don't go against Kira on your own, he's going to kill you" He said worriedly
"Didn't you say I was Kira? I wouldn't kill myself" I teased
"Well I..." He started
"Well if I am Kira then there is no need to worry" I said
"Yeah but-" He once again tried to say
"Plus, if I am Kira-" He cut me off
"STOP IT! STOP IT PLEASE, WILL YOU?!" He shouted "Sorry, just stop saying 'if I'm Kira' I don't want to think of that possibility" He murmured
"Why? If I was...I mean...You could just kill me already, if I'm not him then you'll just have to keep searching" I said
"I wouldn't..." He said looking down
"Why not?" I asked
"Because I feel like you're my only friend..." He said looking directly at me
"I should probably get going now..." I said, was that too harsh? No, I cannot fall for him, but honestly...He's my only friend too...My only friend that unconsciously wants me dead... His black hair look's like he woke up that way...three months ago...and crawled out from under his bed...why do I even like him?! What am I even talking about? I cannot develop feelings for him!
"Are you okay?" He asked looking directly into my (e/c) eyes, I saw his cute grey eyes and...what am I saying?!
"Are you okay, y/n?!" He asked
"Yeah but..." I tripped and blanked out.

*~L's P.O.V.~*

What the hell am I supposed to do with the unconscious girl?! If her father comes in he's gonna think I did this to her!
Okay, I should pick her up and carry her to her house, I picked y/n up on the bridal style and looked back at her, was she even breathing?! in that moment the doors opened and Matsuda and Soichiro came in.
Her father looked down at me and at her, my face was inches away from hers because I was checking if she was breathing
"I swear to God this is not what it looks like!" I said unconsciously almost dropping her, glad I grabbed her in time
"It's not what it looks like?" Soichiro and Matsuda asked in unison
"No! W-We were..." I was totally died with her father death glaring at me, that's okay, if they don't have any evidence I cannot be blamed for this
"We were talking, okay?! Just talking! And then she tripped and blanked out!" I explain, it was truth
"Well it looks pretty much like you put her unconscious because you think she's Kira...or..." I cleared my throat before Matsuda could say the other option
"Ryuzaki! Please don't interrupt Matsuda" He said, jeez...I thought they were the ones working under me not the other way around...
"Thank you, or...you were going to kiss her" Matsuda said, I wasn't! God damn that stupid police officer, it's difficult to have a clever conversation with any of them...y/n is the only smart one...so slapping myself mentally right now! My thoughts are not helping!
"I swear I wasn't going to do anything like that!" I said, she slightly opened her eyes, she looked up at me and then fell off my arms
"What the fuck were you doing?!" She shouted, great is there anyone that still wants to accuse me?! I didn't do anything and I wasn't going to! Jeez...

I sat on the couch watching the footage again
"Ryuzaki, for your information, my daughter has a boyfriend" Soichiro said, I felt like punching him in the face. I turned my hands into fists behind my back so they wouldn't notice
"In first place, why would I even care? I don't give a damn if your daughter has a boyfriend or not, that is completely useless to the investigation and extremely unprofessional! And second, what we are trying to solve is serious, we're trying to solve the Kira Case, not some stupid love triangle, so...I'll tell you what, you have two choices:
1- Admit that you were wrong and that I don't care for your daughter at all
or
2- You can convince yourself that this Kira Case is some sort of love triangle and leave the investigation right.now" I said leaving him speechless

I turned to Watari
"Pass the footage of the last fifteen heart attacks if you would" I said as he nodded
"Why, of course, sir" He said as I stared at the screens
