Hello readers!!! I know it’s been a long time since I uploaded any poem, but I am extremely sorry for that. Well, you won’t have to wait any longer, because my vacations have begun and I’ll try to upload as much poems as I can. InshaAllah!
I Wish I Could…
Sometimes I wish I have
Secret control, or powers,
To stop the wind howling by,
Or the birds, up in the towers.
I wish that with just
One single magical word,
I could stop the daily routines,
Stop the times of the world.
Stop the clock from ticking,
Make everything freeze,
Stop the crows from crowing,
Bring the time to a cease.
And stop the time when I
Am having some talk pretty,
Or sharing an up roaring laughter,
Or having a kitty party.
And stop the cold water,
When it splashes on our ankles.
When, on the shore we stand,
Our arms all in tangles.
Stop the flowing tears, or,
The time when we are all in a hug.
And when we are all shrieking and shouting
Due to victory in some tug.
And I wish I could stop,
Best buddies from going apart.
I wish I could stop my dear friend,
Just before she’s going to depart!

This poem has been written for one of my best buddies @InnocentMuslim coz she’s leaving, in fact, left for her home country for further studies. She’s been a really GREAT friend of mine and I pray that she achieves her aims and goals. Aameen! I am missing you terribly, @InnocentMuslim!!
