No matter how hard I tried, I could not peel the smile that sat on my face for the rest of the day. I just couldn't stop smiling. Not when I finished eating my lunch, not when my students gave me bug eyed stares as I babbled on and on, and definitely not when a limousine pulled up in front of the school to pick me up. It was just the sight of Mike's face when I told him I was bringing a plus-one. A sight I never, ever wanted to forget. Just imagine: eyes wide, mouth open, ears ablazin with smoke and the nose filled with fire. Now that, my friend, is the sight of pure jealousy.

Obviously I'm exaggerating a little bit but that's not the point. The point is I, Marie Taylor, took the first step in making my ex-boyfriend, Mike Tamer, jealous by using my fake boyfriend, Ryan Evans. See my point? See how AMAZING that is?

And now that I've taken my first step there is absolutely nothing keeping me from making my next steps. I was going to walk the most I have ever walked in my life to meet this goal, and of course, seeing this sight just continued to make me happier. And I thought nothing could ever make this sight nor the excitement in my chest disappear.

That is until I pulled up into the driveway of Queen's Enterprise. At first, seemingly dumbfounded, I gazed at my surroundings in awe. White walls, glass windows, sleek technology I had never seen before. I mean, this place was almost as amazing as Ryan's mansion! Almost.

And through it all, there I stood, just smiling as the driver escorted me through these open hallways. Then I see Ryan. He's in a grey suit like he was this morning, the jacket now buttoned closed and pressing smoothly against his dress shirt, making more prominent the muscles that hid underneath the cloth. He stood there lazily, elbows against the counter, lips drawn into a flirtatious smirk. Ears as hot as ever. But what stood in front of him was what made my smile drop clean off my face.

A Busty Secretary woman, her lips practically touching those beautiful ears as she whispered what I believed were dirty words in them. My hands turned into fists at my sides. I can't believe he was flirting with another woman. I mean, sure, it wasn't official and then again it wouldn't ever be, but fake or not, how could he do this to me?

His gaze turned away from Busty Secretary and met mine, almost as if he could feel the death glare I'd been giving his temple for the last 5.7 seconds I'd been standing here. And you know what he does? He winks at me.

I quickly uncoil my face and throw a fake smile in his direction. It's okay Marie. Do it for the $30,000 and the chance to see that look on Mike again. It'll all be worth it.

"Boogy bear!" I cry in his direction with my arms open, hoping he won't leave me hanging.

"Cupcake!" He cries back. Leaving Busty Secretary behind and engulfing me in a nice bear hug, although, it was probably a little bit too tight. "I've missed you so much! I thought I'd die of boredom talking to the Busty Secretary!"

You've done it again, Marie. You have reincarnated the look of jealousy on another's face. But at the same time, I kind of felt bad for her. That must hurt. Hmm . . . oh well!

He pulls away from me but his hands still remain on either side of my shoulders as he looks intensely into my eyes. Most likely putting his acting skills to use so he can conjure up a sense of love. I stare right back at him, mustering up the same look.
