Beneath the skin

Alice opened up to Yoongi about her past, from grade 3 she first came to Korea to a few month ago she quit university. From being bullied and forced to drink from toilets to having a fight with university teacher and getting reported to the principle. From being depressed alone to learning to stand up for herself.
Yoongi regrets not recording this because it's really some wise words. 

"And mum hated me for doing tattoos, her old fashion opinion thinks tattoos are too rebellious for girls and it's disgusting people ink their own skin. She basically threatened to kicked me out of the house... I kind of can understand how hard it is for her when my dad is dead and she has to raise two children by herself, so I'm not gonna argue with her, I packed up and left. I'm going live my dream now, if I fail, I'll deal with it, at lest I won't regret. I doubt she even remembers that she has a daughter now, she has a son who's a doctor, she doesn't need to think about this failure here. I mean how does she even measure how successful you are? Oh well."  Alice rolled her eyes, her mum is one of the old fashion people who thinks sons are more important than daughters and daughters should just marry to a good husband and live a boring life. Guess that ain't happening in Alice's life, she's gonna live while she's young.

Yoongi chews on the pizza still, while Alice talked, he forgot to eat. He was lost in Alice's brown eyes, there's no emotion he could read from those eyes, nor her voice. Her voice was just flat, he can tell she was trying hard to control her feelings, he suddenly wants to hug her.

"Now your turn. I did lots of talking man." Alice stared at the ceiling, that way her tears won't fall.

"It'll be okay Alice, I promise you." Yoongi had to say that, he doesn't know why but he felt the urge to say something to make her happier.

"Now it's my story time."
