The Dragons of Legend

Gather round and listen close to the tale of the dragons that once ruled long ago before human had claimed these lands. There were five that held claim over these lands that we now call our own. they each dwelled apart in different sectors of the earth and all dragons and other creatures obeyed because they were different possessing abilities greater than that of any normal dragon that no human could ever know. One dragon the king of earth dragons lived in the west surround by an endless forest, in the east the king to the gold dragons dwelled in the midst of the sand dunes and sandstorms, to the south queen of the air dragons stayed with freezing winds, the queen of the fire dragons resided in the south warmed by the heat violent volcanos, then there is the water dragons king who, having no land to call his own sank to seas that became his kingdom. So throughout the years they keep to their homes meet now and then or to deal with anyone that was unruly. That was how to have stayed until the humans came to the west which was at first a small number not bring much attention or presenting a threat but over the centuries they began to expand and evolved to their new environment building weapon to protect themselves even bonding with some dragons by the time the kings and queens of dragons meet on an island residing nearly in middle each territory the humans had their numbers bordered in the thousands.

Now the reason they had meet up not for increasing numbers of humans nor that fact that many dragons were being tamed or even the fact that the homes may very well be swallowed up it was about the war the humans were having against ancient enemy that they thought had been wiped out during their own war in which many had lost their lives to destroy them. It had taken their combined might to vanish their queen with the overwhelming army that never seemed to end. It was only when the queen of the demons, their enemy had been vanquished that the rest disappeared only to appear once more five hundred years later once again murdering all around but the humans were fighting back but it was only a matter of time before they crumbled to the forces which were not their problem had it not been for the bonds between those they ruled that now wove their destinies together forever.

On that island, they decided to aid in the war against the demon queen. They journeyed to the meet the humans' leader, Avery. They forged a pact to help each other and with the dragons they were able to keep the demons at bay but as long as their queen was around they would simple double in number. Scouts were sent to find the areas where the daemons seemed to concentrate. They came back telling that in each territory of the dragons they were sprouting from. It was decided that each of the dragons would lead army of the humans bonded to dragons but since Avery could not simply be in five places at once so he choose five of his most trusted knights to go with a each dragon. To the north went Wanda, the kingdoms strategist with the air dragon, to the volcano ridden south was sent Karuna, known for her instincts and temper with the fire dragon of equal temper, to the east went Sage, a master in magic with the gold dragon, down to the eerily deeps of the sea went Nen,a legendary navigator, and lastly Dagon,known for his almost endless supply of magic energy went farther west with the earth dragon.

As the knights went to find where the demon queen dwelled they grew closer to the dragons leading to them bonding as at each corner of the world they wiped out the demon army but the queen had yet to be found so they went to last past that had not been searched, the island where the dragons and sure enough there was the last portal. This island would be the place of the last battle and it was hard, lasting three days and three nights before the five knights and five dragons were able to defeat the demon queen.

Sage cast a spell to seal the demon queen and as she was seal she vowed to return with that she was imprisoned on the island.
