A tear drops on my coat's lapel,
On my lap rests our photo montage,
Still not sure how we lost it all,
How we let go and lost charge,
My heart's rolling down a lonely hill,
And it'll probably get stuck in a chasm,
With neither a thrill nor a spill,
It'll probably plunge into a dark abyss,
This loss got me fazed I won't lie,
Like a lost kid in a circus,
Terrified by how fast time goes by,
When you're lost and going round in circles,
Mad at myself that I let go of us,
And if the only thing worse than death is a regret filled coffin,
Then I guess that makes me a dead man walking,
If by chance I'd be flashed a smile by serendipity,
If turning back time could be a reality,
In my arms is where you'd be for eternity.
