Chapter 2

I parked my bike at it's usual spot, which was about a block away from the school. I walked the rest of the way and found that it was unusually crowded in the school's parking lot.  I wasn't one to follow crowds, so I just went straight for the school building .

"Wow." I said to nobody in particular.  The building was empty, literally.  The halls were empty, the classrooms as well.  There was literally no one in sight! "Well at least I can have some peace and quiet. "I muttered to myself.

I went to my locker and took out the books that I needed.  I then checked the time and saw that it was 08:10 . "I wonder what the special occasion is.  Oh well , more free time for me. " I said to myself.  I took this opportunity to go to the school library . I was surprised to find Mrs. Grenold there. 

"Oh hi Mrs. Grenold.  I'm surprised to see you here .  The whole school is outside. "

"I'm not one to waste my time on useless things dear. "Mrs. Grenold said with a friendly smile.  "Some new transfer students are outside.  Appearantly, they're very important people.  So everyone is welcoming them to our school.

"Wow, they're so important that school has to even start late?" I asked confused. 

"Appearantly so, dear. But don't worry, the more they waste time outside, the more time you have in the library. "

She was right.  The library is my most favourite place in the whole school.  I practically knew the whole school library ,every single bit of it.  So, I went to grab a few books . I then made myself comfortable and began reading.

Tris' pov

Man there sure is a lot of people in this school.  The whole school;teachers, students and even the principal, were welcoming us outside . I don't know why they had to do that, it's totally not necessary.  I checked my watch, it read 08:18 . Wow, school has to even start late because of us   . What important people we are.  It felt like we we're standing there for hours  .  My brother, Dave, and his best friend, Jake,who also happens to be my boyfriend ,were enjoying the attention, while I chilled next to our car and watched them from behind.  I was getting sick of this. 

"Jake! "I called out .  He heard me and left the huge crowd for Dave to handle.  He jogged to me asked, " What is it baby ?"

"Well for starters, I'm tired.  We've been standing here for hours.  It's even past eight o'clock already, school has to start late because of us.  Can you please ask the principal and those lazy so called teachers to stop slacking? "I told him. 

"Anything for you sweet cheeks. "he said  kissing my forehead.  He then went back to the crowd.  A few minutes later, the crowd started to go into the building.

Dave came to me disappointed.  "I can't believe you made your boyfriend ask the principal to torture us.  I was really enjoying my time not learning you know?"

"Oh stop being such a baby.  The sooner school starts, the sooner we can get what we're looking for and get the hell out of this place . It reeks of humans. "I said a matter of factly.

"You know sis,I will never understand you. "he said while resting  his arm on my shoulders . We went into the school building together.

Logan's pov

I started hearing a noise .  "Seems like the party is over outside. "Mrs. Grenold said to me. "It's time to go to class honey. "

I sighed. "Oh well, so much for time off. "
