Late Nights

Chapter One

     I wake up. It's about 11 a.m, last night was great. Yesterday after school Andrew and I drove over to my best friend Evie's house, she was throwing a party. Andrew is my boyfriend, we've been dating almost 5 months. Evie called the get together a "senior party" to celebrate the passage to our last year of high school. 

     After laying in bed for a bit, I picked my phone up from off my nightstand and on the bright screen there was a few missed calls from Evie and a text from Andrew. The text read,

"Had a great time with you last night ;)"

     That made me blush, at multiple points in the night we had found ourselves secluded from the rest of the crowd. Anyways, I sent back a text asking if he wanted to get together sometime today. I then responded to Evie's calls with a text asking her what was up.

     After doing my late morning routine I ate a bit of breakfast, grabbed my keys and started up my car. Whilst I was getting ready Andrew texted me back and said to meet him at the library.

     Once I made my way to the local library I said my hello's to the normal workers there, to them I was a regular here. I made my way to Andrew and I's favorite spot where I immediately saw him there waiting. He smiled, his smile was great, it could brighten anyone's day.

"Hurry up." He whispered, motioning for me. I hurried my walk and sat on the floor next to him. We had a quick hello kiss as I asked what was up. Andrew help up a book with the name "Genesis" written across it.

"I just got this book this morning and it's amazing!" Andrew exclaimed excitedly as he handed me the book.

"I'll be finished with it soon and then you have to read it!" His grin covered his handsome face. I smiled back at him and promised I'd read it as soon as I got it. 

     We sat in our spot for a while and laughed at our Tumblr feed together. I then checked out some books for my classes and left to go back home, Andrew said he had some things to go do but would come over later.

     I made my way home, climbed into bed and turned on Netflix. I began to watch Supernatural but eventually got to watching Deathnote (my favorite anime). I almost was asleep when I heard a knock at the door. My family was all gone on a trip to Colorado, but I had to stay home for summer band camp.  I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and let Andrew inside, he sat down and I layed down beside him. I rest my head on his lap, Andrew ran his fingers through my hair and un-paused Deathnote. We stayed like that or a bit till the sky began to darken and I had fallen asleep.

"I think it's time for me to go sweetie." Andrew said before kissing me softly on the forehead.

Hey, so, I know its been a while since I've written but I have lots of plans for this story, and i'm super stoked! So I hope you guys like this one :)

P.S: Also sorry for such a short first chapter, next time i'll try to get over 1,000 words.
