She had said it in a rushed manner. But a second later, she sped away. I knew that it wasn't Tatia. For she was dead, and this person was clearly a vampire. But who was the witch she spoke of? And what is a death cure?

These were the questions I asked Elijah after I told him what happened. Elijah had decided to have a little talk before he left to New Orleans.

" I now of the Bennett Witch, but I have not heard of any death cure. Yes I have heard of "The Cure", but I have never heard of it in that manner."

" What do you think it means, Elijah?"

"Well, we know it runs through your veins. Silas at least gave us that much information. That narrows down the possibilities. It's not the cure for vampirism, for that was in Silas' hands. So perhaps it's the cure for all death?" Elijah had told me all about Silas' shape shifting abilities. Or rather the ability to make me see whoever he wanted me to see. He was able to get in my mind and show me the face of the person I missed the most, Tatia's. The real question, however, is why he wanted me to help Bonnie so bad.

" All death!? That is highly unlikely. Mother wasn't able to raise the dead, and she was a very powerful witch. It seems impossible that the simplest thing-my blood- can cure all death. That goes against the laws of nature!"

" It was just a possibility, brother. We do not know for sure. I suggest you search for the witch. Her name is Bonnie Bennett. She is friends with the Salvatore brothers."

" Thank you brother, for everything." I say as I give him a brotherly hug. When we part I speak before he gets distracted. " Listen, brother. After all these years, I have finally forgiven you. I spent all this time holding a grudge against you and mother, that I never have really felt happy. That is, until now. You had taken me in, when I had no one. Thank you."

He gives me a smile, and begins to speak as well. "I will miss you, brother."

" And I, you.

That same night, I had gone to bed thinking about what Silas said. So many questions running through my head, but no one to answer them. After thinking through everything that has happened since I awoke, I soon found myself falling into a dark abyss.

The worst possible feeling in the whole wide world, is having a nightmare. It wasn't just any nightmare that I was currently going through, it was the worst possible kind. It was a nightmare were you didn't even know you were dreaming. You would go about the day as you usually do. It doesn't sound so bad to most of you, right? Well for me, it was horrible. I went about the day as I usually do. And for a long time I had been laying on stone, pondering what I did to deserve that kind of punishment. An eternity with my own miserable thoughts.

I dreamt that these passed few days had never happened, and that I was still laying on the God forsaken stone. That was until I felt a pull. Somebody was calling out to me, but I had no idea who it could have been. No doubt, it is a witch. But which one?

Suddenly I found that the scenery around me changed. I was no longer in the cave, but in some type of ancient house. I could tell by the looks of the concrete and no windows, that we were in a basement. And in the middle of it all, stood a toned skinned girl sitting with her legs criss-crossed. She was channeling magic, that I could tell, but why on earth am I here?

She opened her eyes as she realized I was there.

" I need your help." She had simply said.

" Who are you?"

" The Bennett witch you are looking for."

" You're Bonnie Bennett?"

" Yes. Listen, we don't have long. The witches I am channeling only allowed us a couple of minutes to dream scape. So, pay attention to my words. We need each other. I need the Death Cure to drop the vale to the other side, and you need me to raise your mother."

" How do you know about that?" She briefly smiled at me.

" The witches tell me a lot of things."

" I have so many questions for you."

" Not now. I came to deliver a message. Do not under any circumstances, trust any one. Silas can take any form he wants. And if you spill the beans on my plan to, lets say Rebekah, there is a 99.5% chance that it was Silas."

" But you haven't told me your plan."

" I will. Tomorrow, I want you to walk around town. You'll feel a pull towards me."

" How?"

" Because I linked us. If Silas perhaps decided to kill you, he wouldn't because I linked us. He can't lose his chance."

" So I walk around town, and wait for a pull?"

" Exactly." she had said, but her voice was different. It was distant, like an echo in a cavern. Suddenly, I woke with a start.

Its going to be a long day tomorrow.
