Time is a marvelous thing. Time is infinite. Time allows you to move on from grief. Time allows you to calm down after being angered. Time allows you to be late.
" Very sorry I'm late!" I yelled as I walked through the humongous house I still can't believe I live in. I was very late to say goodbye to Elena. Throughout the summer she has become one of my closest friends.
" She's gone, Bellamy." Jeremy said as he walked up to me. " and we are gonna be late for school."
" Ah Yes. School. Or as you and all teenagers throughout the world call it, hell."
" Exactly." Jeremy laughs and makes his way to the door.
" Do you me to speed us to the school?"
" No thank you, I'm very happy with being able to use my legs and not being hospitalized by whiplash."
" Very well then, at least I don't have to carry your heavy ass." I chuckle, opening the door.
" Asshole."
" Right back at ya." I replied giving him a smile showing him I was just kidding.
We both got in the car and were already heading towards the school. Damon enrolled me by passing me off as his son. I for one didn't want to go to school, but Damon said the price of living at the boarding house was to make sure that Jeremy didn't get into any trouble. Me, having nothing better to do, agreed.
In the past few months of summer I spent my time getting to know the people of Mystic Falls. I made friends. My sister, however, chose to spend her summer vacationing with Matt. Not that I could blame her. Matt was gorgeous. As was most of the men in this town.
In this time, Jeremy and I got extremely close. He easily became my best friend and I've been there for him in his grief. Jeremy was still in love with Bonnie. And he couldn't really move on. Especially since he still sees her. He constantly leaves the room to talk to her. Bellamy sees her as well and likes to spend his nights talking to her about everything and anything. Bonnie has also become my best friend.
We drive up to hell and it's the most bland thing in this wretched town. The town is filled with historical buildings and beautiful homes. The school, however, looks like cement walls put randomly in different places to create a shape. Yes, school is definitely hell.
" What do you think?'" Jeremy asks holding out his arms to the pile of cement called school.
" I hate it already."
" You and me both, Bell." He laughs.
We walked up to the school but Jeremy stopped abruptly.
" I need to go to the restroom. Can you wait for me there." He said pointing to a bench just next to the doors.
I see Bonnie in front of us.
"Yeah, of course." I say and take a seat.
He appears a few minutes later and we walk into school.
"You ready for this?" He asks turning to me.
"No. Not at all." I groan and walk forward.

Later that day I'm back at the Salvatore home laying in bed on my new phone.
I still haven't gotten used to this world's technology.
"Boo!" Bonnie says appearing next to me and I sit up in fright but quickly calm down.
"You nearly scared me to death!" I laugh.
"Not possible." She smiles and lays down next to me. "So how was school?" She asks teasingly.
"Horrid. Hated every second of it."
"Yup. That's school for you."
"How's it going with Jeremy?" I ask shifting to face her.
"It's going okay. He still doesn't understand why I'm not letting you bring me back."
"Speaking of which. Are you sure about that?"
"I'm sure, Bell. We can't open the vale again. It's too risky. Bad things will happen."
"Yeah yeah. I know."
"Well anyways. Shall we?" She asks sitting up and facing me with her legs crossed.
"We shall." I agree and take her cold hands in mine.
Bonnie and I hadn't only been talking this past summer. She's also been teaching me magic and helping me understand just how powerful I really am.
Honestly, I wasn't really good at practicing magic. Something would always go wrong. Bonnie thinks it's subconscious. She thinks that my trauma with my mother is preventing me from perfecting my craft. I can't help but agree; However, I have no idea how to fix the damage my mother caused.
Hey!!! Sorry this is so short, I've just been focusing on editing, so I didn't really know what else to add . I need to rewatch this season, but updating Bloody Vengeance is my main priority right now. Nevertheless, I'll be updating this in the summer for sure. I hope you guys enjoyed, and I'm excited to get back into writing this story. Bye!!!!
