Finally I reached the school, to be honest, the ride wasn't as long as I'd wanted it to be, but the scenery around here was amazing. The little boost of confidence evaporated as I pulled into the high school parking lot. Everybody was staring at me. Or, at least the handful of students and teachers that were still actually in the lot. I parked next to a large green Chevy pickup, and, grabbing my bag and keys, I sheepishly left the safety of my car and walked across the lot to the main entrance.

The school was a lot bigger on the inside than I gave it credit for. There were at least seven sections, a high school, middle school, elementary, library, cafeteria, and two gym rooms. Luckily, the office was right in front of the entrance that I came in through, and there weren't many students in the hallway that I was in.

I pulled the door open and stepped in. Nobody really noticed my entrance, and if they did, they didn't note it. One girl with curly blonde hair that was sitting at the front fest finally looked up at me. She obviously didn't recognize me as a student that was already attending, as it was so late in the school year, and she jerked a thumb towards one of the attendance desks in the back. I nodded my thanks and looked around as I made my way towards the desk she'd indicated. The office part had a few chairs lined up against the left wall next to a book shelf of informational pamphlets, and the right side of the room had a schoolroom desk, I was guessing for lunch detention or something like that. And on both sides there were small hallways with a lot of office doors leading to what I guessed was a back room.

"Can I help you?" The voice snapped me out of my daze and I looked down at the short old lady sitting at the desk. The nameplate said Diana Bayne.

"Uh, yeah," I nodded, "I'm new here, my mom told me to get my schedule from here. M-my name is Krystin Divhal." I nervously fiddled with the bottom of my shirt as she clicked an attendance computer.

"Alright, wait here for a minute, sweety." She smiled, stood up, and went around the left hallway. I gave myself this time to look around some more. There were quite a few people here, a man with a dark purple shirt and a lighter purple tie, the lady who sat behind the other desk-her nameplate read 'Susan Holtman'- a couple of seniors sitting at the front desk-once again I guessed, for extra assistance- and teachers were running in and out of either hallway.

Suddenly, as if a magic wall had been broken down, a flood of middle schoolers crashed and bumped their way through the main hallway and Mrs. Bayne came back around holding a piece of paper. She handed it to me and I looked it over. Only four classes. First block was 10th grade English with some tacher named Anita Booth, the next was History with Brady Price, and Sociology with James Garnette and then gym class with Rachel Arthur. "Right here is lunch," Mrs. Bayne circled in between Sociology and Gym, "now, do you need any help finding your classes or can you figure it out for yourself?"

"Could I get some help?" I asked. Mrs. Bayne nodded and called over the innercom

"Could Jamie Brown please come to the high school office?"

A few minutes later a student came around through the left hall. She was short, about 5"3' with a sturdily built body. Large breasts, I noticed. And her straight dirty blonde hair was pulled up in a high pony tail. "You called me up, Mrs. Bayne?"

"Yes. I would like to introduce you to our new student Krystin. Could you show her around and make sure she gets to her classes?" Mrs. Bayne shoved me forward gently and I looked down and fiddled with the bottom of my shirt again. Jamie Brown nodded. "Good, then. This is your locker number." Mrs. Bayne handed me a post it note with three numbers on it: 176, and Jamie beckoned for me to follow.

sorry for the lack of creativity on the last couple of paragraphs, bit of a brain fart, things will get a little better as soon as introductions are all said and done. :)
