Michael wraps me in another towel and looks through his drawers. "First thing's first, we gotta get you out of those clothes." He hands me one of his t-shirts. As soon as it was in my hands, my nose caught a sweet aroma and I brought the shirt closer to my face."I know we've been friends for some years, but I just have to tell you that I love smelling you. Everyday you smell like something out of heaven." Michael giggles and shakes his head. "Well, thank you, Goofball." He heads for the door so I could change and meet him in the kitchen.

I sat on the counter while Michael raided the fridge and cabinets. "Michael, we don't need that many snacks for one movie." I giggled. Brownies, chips, candy, and cookies crowded the table. I grabbed a pack of mini brownies and pop one in my mouth. "If you say so, my little chocoholic. You're already comfortable with your brownies." I blush and stuff another one in my mouth. "I'm surprised you didn't pull out a bunch of drinks with these snacks." He hands me a Coca Cola can. I raised an eyebrow and stare at it. "The irony." "What do you mean?" he asked while putting everything back in its place. "All of the Pepsi commercials you've done, I'm surprised you have a Coke lying around. He laughs and grabs the remaining snacks off the table. "Umm..." I started. "Umm..?" he repeated. "Do you think I could have something else to drink?" I pouted. "Ohh. I see what you're talking about." He grins and hands me the snacks. "Go set up the snacks. I'll meet you in the living room in a minute."

The movie was starting, the snacks were bunched up on the coffee table, and Michael came with a bottle of wine and a glass for me. Soon, we were comfortable on the couch, munching on sugary goodness and I sipped on my wine, getting more tipsy with each glass Michael would pour for me. After the third serving, Michael glanced at my eyes and saw how tipsy I was. "I think that's enough for one night." he said. "Aww. Why you gotta be a killjoy?" I whined. "Alcohol is not the answer, V." "You're right. It's the question. 'Yes' is the answer." Michael shakes his head and reach for the remote to pause the movie. "What's the matter?" he asks and turns to face me. I knew I had to explain about why I was found soaking wet at a diner and crying on the phone. I was hoping he wouldn't ask tonight at least. But guessing by the way I was knocking back my drinks even though I wasn't chugging them made him think it was time to ask. I sigh and slump back. "Me and... a friend..." Friend? Yeah. Sure. We'll call him that. "Well, we're not really on good terms at the moment. I got really heated so I wqlked out into the rain and to the diner and that's when you called." I saw the sadness in his eyes. "Now there's a problem. I don't really have a place to stay for awhile." Michael pulls me into a hug and I melt into his arms, putting my face in his neck to take in his scent as usual.  "You can stay here in Neverland with me." he says after a while. I took my face out of his neck. "Really?" I asked. "I mean you're here now. Why leave?" Now it was my turn to hug hI'm. "Michael, I swear you're the only person that could make me cry and put a smile on my face at the same time." I whisper with my voice breaking. He pulls back and wipes away the tears that silently made their way down my face. "You're safe with me. Okay?" I nodded and smiled. "Time to go to bed." he says and picks me up bridal style. "Michael, I think I'm capable of walking. I'm not drunk." "If that's the case, enjoy the ride then." he says as we make it up the stairs.

We get to his bedroom and he puts me on the bed. I instantly crawled under the covers and snuggled into a comfortable position while Michael watches and giggle. "I remember the last time you were over and the first thing you did was climb in my bed and slept until I had to get you up." I blushed at the memory. That day, I was so exhausted and Michael wanted me over to play. Who was I to tell him no? On the way there, he sent me a text. 'And let the games begin! First we're playing hide and seek. Let's see if you can find me when you get here.' I started to look for him. Then I made my way to the bedroom. I thought to myself, "I hope he knows it was gonna take a while. Neverland is too big." So I decided to take a break for a few minutes. But as soon as my back hit the soft mattress, I was comfortable and out like a light. Instead of me having to find Michael, he had to find me. When he did, he let me sleep until dinner was ready. "I was tired that day!" I pouted. "And your bed is so comfy." Michael turns out the light and gets on the other side of the bed. "You deserve a good night's rest. Especially after what you've been through tonight. That's why I brought you in here." I smiled. "That's sweet of you. Good night, Mike." "Night, V." As I listened to the now light patter of rain against the window, I smiled to myself knowing things were getting better already and dozed off.

A/N: I know I said I was gonna update Christmas but that's when my tablet wanted to act stupid and not turn on for me to get this chapter up. But at least it's finally been done while it was on this time. Hopefully I could update soon... if the tablet doesn't stay off on me.
