Chapter 3

I look up and see a grey orb with a skull inside, the same skull from my dream. It is giving off a greyish light. Percy takes off into the house and soon emerges with Nico, just in time to see the orb fade away.

"Holy Hades," mutters Nico, "I have another sister." he sways a bit, until he has to lean against Percy. Percy guides him back inside leaving you Annabeth and Chiron standing (Chiron sitting) in front of the house.

"Annabeth, please show C to her cabin." Chiron asks, though it sounds more like an order to me.

"Okay," Annabeth replies somewhat reluctantly, I don't think she likes me much. She starts walking and I have to jog to catch up.

We walk in silence until we get to the group of cabins, Annabeth points to a dark grey and black one on the edge, "that is your cabin, you will be sharing with Nico until he leaves, he is not here very much, when he leaves it will be all yours." She walks to one of the other cabins.

I still don't know what they mean, or where I am, or what the weird floating orb thing was. Whatever, I'll probably figure it out soon.

I walk into the black cabin, the interior is not very different from the exterior, very black and depressing, there are bunks and stuff you would find in any normal cabin, but there is also a huge speaker and a stack of cds as tall as I am. I spot my bag and guitar on one of the bunks, I don't know how they got there but as I look through everything is there. I don't know what to do so I decide to pull out my guitar and play. As I pick the strings and start to sing I hear the door open so I stop and look over. Standing in the door way is a girl, she has an unruly mane of curly dark brown hair and golden eyes.

"Oh sorry, I was looking for my brother," she mumbles and leaves the cabin.

I put my guitar away and lay on the bed. Soon enough I fall asleep.

I wake up to loud music blasting from the huge speaker, I look around the room and see Nico laying on one of the beds. He looks up and realizes I'm awake but doesn't say anything, so we sit awkwardly just looking at each other while music blasts in the back ground. The song ends and another one starts, Favorite Record by Fall Out Boy, my favorite song on earth.

"I-I love this song, its my favorite," I stammer.

"M-me too, I love Fall Out Boy," he stuttered. "I've always wanted to go to one of their concerts, but I've never been able too," he added.

As the song plays I silently mouth the words, then it ends and Welcome To The Black Parade by MCR comes on. I quietly sing along to the song, hoping Nico can't hear me, I like this one even more than the last. Sure enough he looks up and, if he didn't hear me, he sees my mouth moving, but I see that his mouth is moving as well, singing along quietly, we gradually start to get louder, and louder, and louder until we are both dancing around the room like maniacs singing at the top of our lungs to every song that comes on. The people out side can probably hear us, but I don't care because I am having so much fun. I haven't danced like this in years.

Soon Percy comes rushing in looking sort of worried. Nico turns the music down, and says "hey Percy, whatcha need?"

"Oh sorry to interrupt your little dance party but I need to talk to C," he says.

"Okay, whaddya need to talk about?" I ask. Nico leaves the cabin, but I don't know why. I'll ask him later.

"C." Percy snaps me back to reality, " so," he starts, " you remember that floating thing above your head?"

"Yeah, what about it?"

"It means that your a daughter of hades," says Percy, "a demigod."

"L-like the Greek god person?" I stutter.

"Yes," he replies, "but not like the Greek god he is the Greek god."

"T-that's impossible, m-my dad died in a car crash a few years ago,"

"Well, I guess you would rather hear this from your parents, but they adopted you when you were just a baby, they probably wanted to tell you but they never got the chance," he says

"What... what about my sister?" I whisper as tears pool in my eyes, I  don't want to cry now, not in front of Percy.

"She is living in Utah, she was adopted by your parents as well, she is still in a foster home and we have a team getting her now," he says.

" Is she a demigod too?" I ask hesitantly.

" we don't know yet but if the barrier stops her then she's not." He says bluntly.

"Oh... Okay," is all I can manage as tears escape my eyes and stream down my face. I don't know why I am crying.

"Are you okay?" Says Percy, he sounds genuinely concerned.

"I'm fine," I squeak "I just need to be alone for a while."

"O-okay," he says. Then gets up and walks out.

I then fall asleep again.
