Pretty Brown Eyes (A Liam Payne Imagine)

Chapter 3

(A/n: I hope you guys are excited for a scene with Liam and Tessa. ;)

Chapter 3 - Tessa's POV

I walked to the local grocery store, needing dinner and dog food for Minnie. As I walked, I listened to They Don't Know About Us by One Direction.

I thought about the guy I ran into at the hospital the day of Dylan's wreck. He looked so familiar, his chocolate brown eyes, short brown hair, and kind smile.

Then I realized it was Liam Payne from One Direction. No, it wasn't Liam. What would he be doing at the hospital? He definitely didn't look sick or hurt.

I hurried along the busy sidewalk to the store, purse on my arm and phone in my hand. I looked around at the people. They all look so happy, filled with joy. I decided to look away, their happiness filling my eyes with tears. Why can't i have happiness? I try to make my self happy, but it won't work.

My only happiness was Dylan, and now he's gone.

Entering the store, I walk around for Minnie's special dog food. Feeling generous, I buy her a bone, too. Someone has to feel happy in my home, and it might as well be her.

Turning around, I run into someone.My sunglasses are knocked off my head and I fall on my butt again.

The strange man helps me up and apologizes. Once more, I see those same chocolate brown eyes.

"I'm so sorry." He says. "I probably should've looked where I was going."

"No, I'm sorry, I should've been more cautious." I say, picking up my glasses and the spilled dog food and bone.

"Here, let me help you." He kneels down and helps me pick up the dog food.

"Thank you." I look down and walk away. "It was kind of you to do that."

"Hey!" He catches my arm. My body fills with electricity when he touches me and pulls me to him.

"What?" I ask.

"Can I get your number? I could take you out to dinner sometime." He asks, his eyes sparkling.

I smile. "Yes." I give him my number and walk away, occasionally looking back. Once, I see him mouthing 'yes!' and doing a dance.

I walk home with the dog food and bone, filling Minnie's food bowl and letting her play with the bone.
