Jean walked silently, hands in his pocket, and music flooding his brain because of his earbuds. He walked along the pathway to his old school park. He walked up the hill and looked down on the playground, seeing a silhouette of a person swinging. Jean walked down to the park and recognized the person, his old school friend, Marco Bodt.
"Marco?" Jean asked, taking out one of his earbuds. The boy turned towards the noise and Jean got a clear look at his face. Pale skin, brown eyes and freckles dotting his entire face.
"Jean! Funny to see you here." Marco said, smiling as he motioned for Jean to come sit down on the swing to the left of him. Jean sat down, reluctantly taking out his other earbud.
"What are you doing here?" Marco asked, staring into his old friends eyes.
"I told my parents I was gay. They needed a bit of time to think they said. So I took walk." Jean explained, swinging his legs to gain a bit of movement.
"I see. It's hard to be gay and have no one except you. I would know, I'm gay as well." Marco said, looking up at the cloudy sky. It looked as if it was about to rain, but he didn't want it to. He enjoyed being here with his old friend an childhood crush.
"Really?" Jean asked. Marco looked back to Jean and smiled.
"Yep. My parents kicked me out for a week. Had to stay with my friend Connie." Marco said, chucking slightly. He had been 15 when it happened.
"Mom, Dad, I have something to tell you." Marco said, looking at his feet and twiddling his fingers.
"What is it son?" Marcos dad asked, sitting up and pushing his glasses on top of his brown mop of hair. Marcos mom smiled and Marco.
"I um- I'm um." Marco stuttered. Marcos mom laughed her twinkling laugh.
"Marco, you can tell us anything honey." She said. He looked up and swallowed.
"I think, I'm gay." He said, directing his gaze to his shoes.
Silence.
"Leave. No son of mine will be a disgrace. Think and then come back when we tell you." His dad said, his tone very scary. Marco grabbed his bag he had pre packed, just in case this had happened, and walked out. He walked down the street til he got to his friend Connies house, tears slowly trickling down his face.
"Marco?" Marco shook his head and turned to see Jean staring at him in concern.
"Huh? Oh sorry I was thinking." Marco muttered.
"No, it's okay. I was just asking if maybe tomorrow you wanted to see a movie?" Jean said, a light pink tinting his cheeks as he scratched the back of his neck.
"Jean, are you asking me out?" Marco asked. Jean sheepishly nodded. Marco smiled.
"Sure." Just then it started drizzling, that turning into a heavy pour. Jean grabbed Marco's hand an pulled him underneath the slide and the walk way to the slide.
"Guess I'm not getting home soon." Jean joked as he sat down the wood chips neck to Marco. Marco rested his head on Jean's shoulder and breathily laughed.
"Your jokes never got any better Jean." Marco said. Jean chuckled.
"I guess so." Jean said. He wrapped an arm around Marcos waist and remembered the memories he made with Marco.

"Marco, your it!" Jean yelled as he ran away from the boy. Jeans heart fluttered as he watched the boys outline. This was the first time Jean suspected his feelings might not be for girls.5th
Jean watched as Marco walked into the classroom on the first day of school. He was wearing a pair of skinny jeans and a sweater. In Shinganshina, where they lived, it was very downcast and cold, even in the summer."Morning Jean!" Marcos voice sent shivers down Jeans spine as Marco took the seat next to Jean and smiled that smile that made Jean smile back.

He stared at Marco as Marco cheered for the football team. They were at the first football game. Marco was enthusiastic. He looked at Jean and laughed, his freckles very visible. It made Jean want to smash his lips into Marcos."Marco." Jean whispered. Marco lifted his head and looked into Jeans eyes. Jean grabbed Marcos head softly and pressed his chapped lips into Marcos soft ones. Marcos lips were like Cotten candy. They were soft and sweet. Marco wrapped his arms around Jean's neck. They kissed slowly and passionately. Their lips were like to puzzle pieces connecting together. Marco pulled away when he needs air and looked at Jean, eyes sparkling.
"I love you Jean."
"I love you Marco."
