{1} {Religion vs Theocracy}

Many people say that the Islamic terrorists- sorry, my mistake, not all Muslims are terrorists (but all terrorists are Muslims) - have a right to be in this country. They say this because of the First Amendment.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Who knew that this could cause so much trouble?

This amendment states that all religions have a right to practice their beliefs.

Now, if this were a religion such as Christianity, Hinduism, or Judaism I would have agreed that this amendment allows anyone participating within this religion to practice their beliefs freely.

But, however, what if I told you that this law excludes Islam?

The first amendment strictly states that the congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

Religion.

It's a simple word, yet can be very misunderstood.

Here is the definition for religion: 

Something one believes in and follows devotedly; a point or matter of ethics or conscience.

Notice how it says ethics and conscience.

The definition of ethics:

moral principles, as of an individual

So, this definition states that a religion has to due with individuality.

Of course, there are events where you gather together. (Mass, Sermons, etc.)

Yet, it is mainly an individual activity, explaining why it mentions conscience. (A conscience is your OWN spiritual "voice".)

So, why do you think I am telling (well, writing) all of this to you?

Well, just take a look at my summed up version of what a religion is:

A religion is a spiritual belief in which a person individually connects with God, Brahman, etc. and practices through rituals and/or other ways of worship.

Notice that nowhere in my definition nor the actual definition does it say anything about the government or world power/control.

Now, let's take a look at what a theocracy is.

a form of government in which God or a deity is recognized as the supreme civil ruler, the God's or deity's laws being interpreted by the ecclesiastical authorities.

In normal english that you all will understand, hopefully, this simply means:

These people want control.

They have to do with government and what everyone else thinks.

Don't get me wrong, of course religions like Judaism and Buddhism have individuals who will preach and spread the word of their God/leader.

But they do not force it upon people or kill them if they do not accept their beliefs.

Honestly, Satanism is more of a religion than Islam!

So, which sounds more like Islam?

A belief controlled government

~or~

A government controlled belief

Of course, if you're not a liberal, your answer was most likely "a belief controlled government".

Which is a theocracy.

So, going back to the beginning of things...

The First Amendment.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Freedom of religion.

Notice, this is not about the freedom of theocracies.

Therefore, why should us Americans suffer from these outsiders who shouldn't even be aloud to enter this country..?
