Chapter 11

Disappearance

Ryuu's POV

It's November and we're back. We missed two months of school and homework is to be fulfilled. We arrived at our apartment and walked in. Everything is neat, but dusty. I walked in my room and it looks the same. It's like it hasn't been touched. I looked into my closet for our uniform and a giant spider crawled out. I stepped on it and threw it away. We went to school.

"Ahh...I miss the wind." Said Makoto.

"No kidding."

"Let's hurry up." Said Kohaku.

I forgot that we're 3rd years now. Everything is still the same and calm.

Lunch

We were in the library so we can finish our homework even though there's three more classes left.

"Hey..today seems..relaxing." Said Kohaku.

"It always had been." Said Makoto.

"I think your still paranoid about the *coughs*...fights..*coughs* and you haven't been used to the calmness again."

"How can you two still be relaxed unlike me?" Said Kohaku.

"I'm not relaxed. I'm paranoid about the calmness again. It's called acting." Said Makoto.

"Same. It's called acting."

"Okay. I get it. Acting..." Said Kohaku.

We continued our homework until Makoto stood up suddenly.

"...Something..is not right..." Said Makoto.

"I get it! Acting! Hahah...good one." Said Kohaku, annoyed.

"I think you're too paranoid."

"No..definitely.. It's quiet. Just stop talking." Said Makoto.

We stopped and listened. He was right. It's quiet. I looked around and the clock isn't moving. Kohaku looked out the window and stood there.

"Check it out." Said Kohaku.

We walked next to him and see bloodshed. People are getting eaten by vampires.. Purebloods..

"I thought we won.." Said Makoto.

"Same..they must've knew that we were going to win and their numbers are falling so they sent a couple to the human land."

"Tch.. How pathetic and smart.." Said Kohaku.

"So we contact our leader?" Said Makoto.

"I think we should, but it might take them sometime to recover since a lot of vampires were lost/injured."

"Then..follow me. We shall not be separated." Said Makoto.

We went on top of the rooftop and jumped to the East since they are on the West. We arrived at a phone booth stand thing and called our leader. She said she already knew and she said it might take two to three weeks to get ready. We must protect the citizens, but we don't have a voice to do it. They won't believe us and they would turn against us.

"Hey..I think we should." Said Makoto.

"Do you think trying would work? They would think we're insane." Said Kohaku.

"We haven't tried it." Said Makoto.

"I know it won't work." Said Kohaku.

"Ryuu. Tell us who is right." Said Makoto.
