Jacks Pov
She nuzzled her nose into my neck. I grinned and kissed her forehead. "How about... We go see a movie tomorrow night?" I whispered against her hair. She nodded slowly. Suddenly her phone started ringing. Groaning she moved out of the cuddle and looked at it.
Signes Pov
I looked at the phone screen and my breath caught in my throat. I shakily answered the phone.
?. Hello? Signe?
S. Hello?
?. We hate to say this but.
S. But What?
?. Your child Sammy.... Is being removed from your custody.
S. WHAT NO! YOU CANT DO THAT!!
?. I'm sorry Miss but Mr.Night has all the forms in check. He wants the child. You have 3 days to prove you can take care of her or she will be removed from your custody.
I stood shocked and crying before I felt Jack pull me back up against him. "What happened?" He murmered into my neck. "They want t-to take away S-Sammy." I said sobbing. I heard I slight gasp before he started rubbing circles around my back. "We should go home" he murmered. I nodded and stood up with him.
Tiny Time Skip.
When we got to the house Sammy was asleep and my sister was in the living room. She quickly left seeing me with Jack. I ran upstairs to the bathroom so I could pee. I slide against the door and sobbed into my knees. I heard someone knock on the door so I stood up and opened it to see Sam. "Mom?" She asked before running and hugging me. "Why are you sad?" She asked looking into my eyes. "I don't want you to wor-" "I am fine" she said looking at the wall. "Alex wants to take you away from me." She froze and stood up. "I see" she murmured. She slowly walked to her bedroom. I heard someone walk up the creaky stair and soon after Jack came up. He hugged me and rubbed circles on my back. I took a deep breath. "We still on for that date?" I murmured to him. "If you still want to go" he said back. I nodded and pulled back. He looked at me confused for a moment before I pressed my lips against his. He kissed back slowly and we broke apart shortly after. I smiled. "Date. Tomorrow. Don't forget." I said as I walked off to bed. I heard the door open and close as he left.
Okay so I changed Sam's age from 4 to 8, because 4 years ago Alex and Signe were 16 and now they are 24. Alex cared for Sam until she was four when he realized that he didn't want a child anymore due to drugs and alcohol. He then left and for 4 years Signe has been caring for Sam who is now 8. Hope it makes more sense but it builds to what will happen next! Bye!
