As Samantha came over I looked down at her and smiled. "Thank you hun" she sat down. "Its the chocolate mocha, with peppermint bits, whipped cream and dark chocolate shavings. Just how you like it" I grinned at her. "Awe thank you hun" She grinned and got up. "Can I go get a hot cocoa?" I laughed. "Yes baby go ahead" she smiled and ran to the back of the line with her $5 bill in her hand. I saw Jack get his coffee and start looking for a place to sit. He looked at me then held his hand out. I smiled and waved him over. He grinned and walked over sitting across from me. (Signe is S Jack is J and Sammy is SS)
J: Hey sorry to interupt but I thought I'd sit with you.
S: It's fine. Just waiting for my daughter to get her hot cocoa
J: You have a kid. Thats sweet. Whats she like?
S: She's really sweet. She's 8 years old, and She's short, smart and really kind.
J: Thats adorable.
SS: Mommy! I got hot cocoa. Huh?
S: Sammy this is Jack.
SS: I know!! Hi.
She held her hand out smiling. Jack shook her hand and then hugged her. Sammy squealed and then looked at me.
Ss: Is he your friend mommy? S: Honey-
J: Yes she is my friend.
I looked at him and he smiled at me. I smiled back and Sam sat down with her plushie. Me and jacked had talked for a while learning things about ourselves when I heard Sam.
SS: Mommy?
S: Yes baby?
SS: Will I ever have a daddy? She asked with tears in her eyes staring at a happy family. I looked at her feeling tears.
S: I don't know baby. I'm sorry. She sighed looking down.
SS: Its okay mommy. I just wish he didn't leave you. Jack looked out of place and went to stand up. That when Sam looked up at him.
SS: Are you leaving?
J: Yea. I have to get home.
SS: okay bye bye. She stood up and hugged him and he hugged her back. Before he left he gave me a hug and I hugged back. "You should message me sometime Signe" Jack said as he left. Sam looked at me. "You like him." I looked over at her. "What?" I said looking at her understanding face. "You like him. He makes you happy. I can tell." I looked away out the window. "Maybe I do" I said. She sat down again and grabbed her hot cocoa. "Mommy. I'm *yawn* tired." She said slowly with droopy eyes. I looked at her smiling. "Alright let's head home." We both went outside and mounted the horses and road off to the house.
        Time skips all the way
As I laid Sam down in her bed she looked at me. "G'night Momma" she whispered before she drifted to sleep. I smiled and kissed her forehead. I walked down to our lounge room. It had a big wall tv, a long black couch, black wallpaper, red rugs over the black floor and a big comfortable queen size red bed. I laid on the bed listening to Pandora® As I fell asleep I felt a tear slip down my face wanting my child to have the best family experience ever.
